I am new to posting and I don't know if I am in the right place to try and get a solution or any help. I have a business which was ranked very high organically before the penguin and panda updates started to roll out. Since then the white hat seo company has done nothing but taken my money each month with nothing but a drop in page rankings. I have a couple of questions #1 How can I find out who is doing seo work for some of my competition who are doing well and seem unaffected by these updates and #2 where can I get some help with my site in the black hat area of marketing for my website. Like I said I apologize ahead of time if I have posted in the wrong place but if I don't find a solution this 10 year business in over and done with... but to me it seems like your "white hat" company wasn't as whitehat as you thought. if you were using whitehat services you shouldn't have been hit any any of the updates.
if you like I could look at your site and suggest what you should be doing.

you don't have 15 posts so you can't PM me yet, and it wouldn't be wise to post it here for all to see.
I just talked to my marketing company and they informed me that for the past year they have been in the process of removing the bad backlinks to the site. Just last week google found another 900 or so that they used the dis avoided tool to get cleaned up? I know not that much about the seo world only that our page ranking has been terrible and continues to not improve. I am thinking after this length of time to trash the site so to speak and launch another one?

Well, you could do that. But I think it would mean more work remaking a new site :/
You could try out some of the SEO services on BHW if you want? Maybe that could help out with your rankings?

Well they werent doing too much whitehat if they are removing links for a year!
As far as trashing it and starting over that depends on you -0- but why not start a second one and and work on the first one? Then you end up with 2 sites making you money not one!
