Criticize my PPD site!

Hi BlackHatters!

I've created a PPD site for serving only my local people. I want your feedback to improve my site.
Please, criticize bad points are welcome to improve my site design. It's not 100% complete, but I want your feedback on site design.

The load times were good.

The design is alright. I'm not really fond of the black background. I think you're on the right track with the design. Maybe get rid of the background and just make it white. I assume that you're trying to go for a web 2.0 type design. I like web 2.0, do a little more tweaking and you should be good.

The login and register pages already have the error bar loaded. And also the "Forgot password" and "Register" buttons on the login page still has the bottom border.

Also the menu and some buttons have bottom borders that are different colors. I'm not sure if that was on purpose, but it's tacky. I didn't want to sign up, so this is from a guests perspective.

I'm sure you know this, but be sure to put work into your FAQ, DMCA, TOS, etc pages.

Also put major work into the download page. That will make or break downloads for your members.

That's all I can think of right now, if I find anything else I will post it. If anything's unclear just let me know.

EDIT: What is the video on the home page for? lol. I just watched it and I'm not sure what I just watched. There are also some misspellings, but that's not a major thing.

Cute design, but there are many things that need to be fixed. The menu tab - Home, Login, Register, etc. should be centered. The FAQ and TOS links lead you to blank pages. And all the links at the bottom lead you to .php/#fakelink

Also, it states at the bottom that the site is copyrighted by uploadbay.org, but the site is nowhere to be found.

Your site is loading very slow for me.

Your site looks very cartoonish and tends to be more for kids.

I would get rid of that video. make it more professional.

BUt so far its not that bad. can make some changes

- The site is on the test link
- Video is just a sample place holder and waiting for the final video producing to replace it.
- These are all just the base pages so the links are not yet pointed.

I will change my background to the white and fix as like your recommendation thank you all!

Actually, this PPD is aim to the target audien of cartoon niche and most uploaders are the young!

I white background would look a lot better for your site. Other than that, I like it.

I dont like the background bro, it makes the site appear to be from the 90s made by a child. A solid BG will be enough

I suggest you use the twitter bootstrap. It'll be really easy to build a design very similar to the one you have now. Then, you can focus on building members, adding more functionality, etc.

The site is in progressing of api access to add 10 CPA Networks, so it's not yet completed soon!
The captcha is along the ways to build a custom one.

I'd wanna get the feedbacks on front end design first thanks!

Personally, im not sure if white background looks so good as website is based on cartoon, the white color makes it look emptish, you could give a go for 3366FF or 3399FF. Also add some cartoon pictures like pirates and treasure from the left and the right side might look better, all in all for me something is missing.

Like said in a above post put a lot of work into your download page, and i recommend providing theme options. It'd be cool if the members can edit the download page to their desires, I haven't seen such a feature in other PPD websites.

Thanks for your idea! I'll take into consideration. I think so for the heading font and now wanna change it, too!

And Yes, Download Page is the most important element, so it'd take time to build.
Yet, the members could be able to build their own download pages using our drag and drop & template customizer already!

The background might also be the dock or a bay, you can make it look like a sea or an island add some ships, palms, whatever make it look cartoon dont overdo, but really play with it around, because now background is really lacking behind. This was my last tip.
