okay a follow up on this testing.

I did not invest any money for promoting. As I said one video went viral, and the revenue generated is $65 in 4 days ($0.5 cpm).

Now after the copyright strike, the performing video is not available and now getting only few cents.

Any body else getting any revenues?

I have promoted two videos, spending about $30. I have not made a single penny. None of my videos have received any likes or comments. Just one subscriber. Do you have any tips for using tags on the videos? Or helping them become easily found? They are all quality videos that have hundreds of thousands of views on other websites.

Go to youtube analytics, enter your main kwd and use all the kwd ideas generated by the tool. That will help you find better tags.

It is also important to upload a custom thumbnail, that will catch the attraction of the user.

For all those who are trying adwords, instead of CPC, can you use CPM? If your thumbnail is good, you will get more likes and it will be cheaper.

CPM on youtube is the most shittiest advice anyone would give. Youtube has billions of impressions per second, you will never know when all your budget gets vanished in seconds. Only go with CPC just CPC and optimize it over a period of time.

You should create your own thumb from what looks most interesting in the video, and not just some random scene that youtube auto generates. You can also try putting a bright orange border or something eye catching to make it stand out from other videos.

I had 100 videos uploaded. All my videos were from the creative commons section, and i still got a copyright strike which shutdown my channel. I'm pretty sure i never even broke any rules...

Did you upload videos other than security cam/dash cam videos?

I uploaded about 20 videos a day for 5 days, all security/dashcam vids. Im not sure if that breaks any youtube TOS...but as far as i know, i never broke any copyright laws. I have a feeling that people are just re-uploading tons of videos from youtube and licensing it with the creative commons, but i dont understand why i should be punished for this.
So for everyone trying this method.... i would stay away from the creative commons. Theyll most likely just get your channel shutdown or your account banned.

You need to set your max cpc to 0.01 with world wide distribution to get the cheapest clicks. No targeting of any kind.

2. The Problem is, maby 5 Channels make realy good money with this methode.
3. If you say you make 500 $ a Day you be the first how have this niche, all the people how come and uploading 50-100 videos ( i see in youtube ) the having 1-5 views, and this is copie.

4. This is good for first people, but not people the come and say i will make money.
5. Youtube ranking the high views no the littel, its unrealistic to make so much.

I have read the posts of IndianBill and BlackH@tWorld and some other Green Usernames only. So I have certain questions to ask:

1. Can I promote video with Vagex, U2BViews, Hitleap and Addmefast so that I can get views, Likes and Subs without paying?

~ I will not apply for the Adsense for Youtube till I'm promoting my videos with above methods?

2. OP, I do respect you but as of the motivation, Can you post your earning proof?

3. I read a post where IndianBill said CPM is not good to go with YouTube. What about using CPM or PPC over Facebook to promote Youtube video?

Basically,

I've experimented for a few days.

My advert was a video and I chose only In-search ad format.

I've put daily budget to $12 and max CPV to $0.07.

In two days my video received 718 views out of 62216 ad impressions - a click rate of 1.15%.

Total cost for two days serving was $24.05 with an avg. CPV of $0.03.

In conclusion, I don't consider my video was potentially viral, the point
was to experiment, but now I'm pretty sure that if you choose a really
good video and do the tags'n'info right you can easily propel it to
some high numbers and get great results! I mean if all those 718
people would start sharing the vid it might become viral quickly.

I got one video to about 4k views, middle east traffic, 2 dislikes, 0 subscribers, exact kind of video he was describing. This is a good method to fund youtube, but I don't see it working to the $500 daily scale unless you do it in other niches.

The suggested channels you see are the ones with really marketable content that people are going to watch for a reason, and many aren't even for a profit! Although I see gaming channels here and there make awesome gaming videos then tell people to download the game generator or crack, if you can get a legit gaming following that would work.

It's good experience but not a practical method as described
