What do your real users say about your app? Is the app monetized via IAPs or ads? If you get decent reviews already from real users I would think you would be better off paying for installs from real people and let the reviews flow in naturally. Thats how all the big companies stay on the top free apps page. Just my .02

Did anyone get in trouble by using these services?

I've used one guy from Fiverr a few times - he claims he has a "network" of people giving these ratings and he charges 5 USD for 10 ratings/reviews/G+'s. So far, so good. I used him a few times (3 moths ago was the last time), but there is no telling, if he really has a lot of people rating for him or he just uses fake accounts from the same IP and so on. A risky business for us, I guess.

I'm now a bit more worried, than before, because today I've received an email from YouTube with this title: "This following video was found in Violation of TOU #4 Section H" - this means, that they've discovered, that I've bought views for one of my videos. I only did this twice for the same video (from two Fiverr users) and bought some backlinks - it was an experiment, if I can rank my video high on certain keywords (the experiment was a waste of money).

My account is thankfully still OK, but ruining a 3k USD / month business with such silly mistakes would be really painful.

Anyway, can anyone please share experiences with these kind of services? Thanks.
