Im trying to decide on either getting a 5$ link pyramid, and one homepage link related to my niche, or just 2 homepage links all together (related to my niche).
The homepage links are do follow, and the OBL is under 20. 2 different sites, same pr.

As for the link pyramid:

I only have $10 right now. The homepage link is for $5/month each link. (PR = 6)

Im trying to rank a youtube video, so which ones would be more effective?

The link pyramid, and one homepage link?
or two homepage links?

What can I tell you for sure: Stay away from any 5$ service when it comes to your 1st Tier :)

1st tier: manually done or get GSA SER and run on all SERengines modules :)

2nd tier: GSA SER
3rd tier+: GSA SER

Well i only have $10 to spend right now. And its gonna be a WHILE before I get some more money. Plus my video has been hovering around rank #30 - #36 for the past week now. Im really anxious to rank it higher.

Get some social signals bro.For 10 bucks you can't get good backlinks

Can't believe I never thought of those. Dammit.
Alright. Ill get some that I can afford from the market place. If I have any money left over, im buying a homepage link.

Don't buy a crappy do-follow homepage link from fiverr. Take all the advice given above, not just the social media concept.

Quite frankly, you'd probably be better off saving your $10 if you have more time than money, by gaining points at addmefast.com by following\liking\etc people's accounts, and then getting people to retweet\share things that have your links in them.

Do what you want either way, the only advice I can give that no one will argue is *Never buy crappy links for your main domains*

save your 10 $ and make some manual web 2.0.
then you can use 5$ to boost them.

$10 isn't really going to do shit, sorry to burst your bubble. Save it up until you have $100, then buy a good service with that. In the meantime, make the backlinks yourself. Analyze other sites' backlinks and make them in the same places.

Argh... But the seller showed me the site, it looks pretty good, and the pr is legit. Fuck I can't even decide now. I'm just gonna do all three. Homepage link, Social Signals, and Link Pyramid.

Because I'm sure the link pyramid could have a possible threat of hurting my rankings (even though ive seen the reviews and people had positive increases) ill save it for last.

Ill buy some social signals first, see how that goes, then ill get a homepage link and see how that goes. Social signals wont hurt, but if the homepage link does, I can just request the seller to remove it.

Dont buy. Do seo backlinking by yourself! You will see grow up aftef some hq tier 1 & 2 links :o

Don't start with the easiest choices and then move to the most experienced\detrimental ones after man.

If you are worried but realistic that your site can get penalize by a service, either try that one first, or remove it from your mind all together and don't do it at all.

Don't be a dummy.

A single homepage link from fiverr isn't going to get you penalized in all probability, but it will have high OBL if the homepage has a high PR, and as a result the PR will be divided up (not even equally to my understanding > who ever is on top gets a higher dividend).

If you spend $5 on fiver for anything other than social signals you could have best case scenario just screwed yourself out of $5 bucks, if not screwed your $5 domain that you had a lot of good plans for.

Quite frankly, I don't think you'll listen, so I hope you spend all $10-15 at once and can't afford a new domain after it's be butt-effed by Google with a penalty that they'll kindly inform you you have to remove (random ass links) and then make "a" manual reconsideration request..

I would say that don't spend the $5 or $10, instead build links yourself.... it would help of course, if you are building manual, relevant and natural links.

A lot of sound advice. When I first started I resisted the urge to buy services off the bat and instead opted to manually do a lot of the work so I didn't have to invest as much money.

It was a very good learning experience for me and I think listening to these smart guys advice will help you a lot.
