HI there, I have uploaded a few videos, and as regards you saying that they should monetise becuase the content is copyright free, my video has been refued monetisation because of commercial rights, I have an option to appeal this but im not sure if i should? I have three options: My video contains original content(Which it dosent) I have an online license for some or all of my content and I have written permission to use some or all of my content. I am getting some problems.
I've got 10k views in only one video(i only have one atm),spreaded worldwide(5 days or a bit more) ..
Got video monetize.
Adsense rejected(why?).
Earnings=$0
May be a delay issue ?

thanks a lot to the OP. There is a lot of potential in this method and it is pretty easy.

Later on you can even scale it up by creating your own videos.

I have tested this method a bit. I did not promote any of my videos using the adwords. I was concentrating more by doing the onpage SEO, posting it in related forums etc. To my surprise one of my videos got kind of viral and got 122k likes in about 4 days. But today, to my surprise I got a copyright strike and the video is removed. Anybody have any idea why it is so? (it was a dash cam video)

But I am continuing to post some good quality videos. (you can only get successful by posting interesting videos). I am getting few views, without adwords promotion. But If I have hundreds of videos, this can be good.

All my videos are monetized, but since I have started only 4 days back, the amount I earned is not shown in the analytics.

Here are some tips:

1. Use annotations to drive traffic from your popular videos to other good and related videos.
2. Give good descriptions and use lot of related kwds as tags
3. Engage with your audience by replying to their comments.
4. Upload only good videos, dont spam.

I think the way forward with this is to make your own videos.
The gem of information here is to promote your video so once its popular, you can then keep doing videos and they'll get more views naturally.
With your own videos you wont need to worry about copy-write strikes and so on.

The clip is used in many compilations etc and the guy who claims the clip (only 15sec out of a big compilation) is russian and has the video uploaded on his channel.

Idk out of experience can this mean trouble because I sent the counter notification w/o owning it?

in my opinion you should not have appeal against it. Anyways let us know how it goes. But what worries me is that after 3 strikes the channel will be taken down by youtube.

There is also other ways to rank better on Youtube. Make sure to use proper tags, a good long description, build some backlinks to the video etc.

C'mon guys, nowadays it's really easy to earn with AdSense from YouTube.
Create genuine cool content and you're done! If you don't know how - research/hire.

Consider statistics, YouTube audience is growing by minutes as well as people getting access
to Internet across the globe. There are almost 3 billion people now and gonna be even more,
obviously, just in few years, Internet grows exponentially, y'all know! How many of all these
people are interested in how many things, just think about it. You can create absolutely
anything and you'll hit a niche/interest with that.

He drives around London daily with a cam attached to his helmet and gets
so many views, I doubt his earnings are small.

Also YouTube AdWords is a gem, you can even promote CPA with that and
get your ad seen by millions viewers. It's these ads you see in the
beginning of the videos on YT and have a choice to skip.

Get a cam, explore the world, upload to YT, promote and you're set.

Are you targeting only tier 1 countries (UK/US/CA) ?

Started to implement this method two days ago. I used a potentially viral original video that I had uploaded awhile back on a year old YouTube account. It was approved within 24 hours, and I'm currently spending $10 a day on promoting it. Getting hundreds and hundreds of views, but thinking that I'm wasting money doing it this way. Maybe I missed it, but if I'm just promoting a good content video, I don't see how it could generate good revenue considering what I'm paying YouTube to get 100k views. Once the page has a lot of subscribers and the like, yes I see the potential there. In the beginning however, I may try cancelling the campaign, then paying for views to get it close to the 100k mark. Then I'd relaunch the campaign.

Meanwhile, I'll be uploading a mix of some original vids plus stuff pulled from elsewhere on the web in my niche, to build up my channel. I may just have some more learning to do about how adsense works in regards to YouTube. I'll report any stand out wins/fails here in this thread.
