Hello BHW members, you see a lot of these threads, so I'm just going to
summarize everything initially. More details will be provided if there is a
demand for it.

Motivation:
Severe personal and financial crisis at the age of 28

Lessons Learned:
Consider freedom and human rights as luxuries
if you are living in a country that isn't a democracy.

Assumptions: Generating an initial income of 300$ per month from
available resources

Funds Available:
0

Skills Available:

  • Above average intelligence
  • Summa cum laude graduate in applied computer science from a decent American university
  • Five years of professional experience in the IT industry
  • Sixteen years of dabbling in computers
  • Sheer badassery and bloody-mindedness
  • Knowledge of BHW members

Obstacles: Lack of discipline and ignorance (might as well add living in a
developing nation with poor infrastructure).

Tentative Plans:

  • Generate start-up capital to invest in domain name, hosting, and VPS
  • Generate income from YouTube and PPD
  • Expand YouTube income to include CPA
  • Create genuine website to market my web development skills
  • Search for additional income streams
  • Enter into a JV with BHW UK members to implement one of my ideas

Wish me luck, because failure is not an option.

Hi friend let me give you some advice.

- Dont ever have a business partner, JV on particular projects only.
Even if you're scared of doing it alone I promise you it's so much better in the long run. I could tell you about my lazy scumbag ex-biz partner but its not worth it. Just don't do it.

- Dont listen to everything you read, find your own loopholes & exploit them fast & hard.
- Dont become complacent even when you are making a fairly good amount of $$.
- Dont think too much. This one Is important & I still struggle with it. Stop thinking of all the "potential" variables and instead run tests & get real data.

- If you currently have a job, save up $10k (or less) and quit immediately. Do not think of business as a hobby or you will fail.

- Avoid people who say what can & cannot be done. Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot accomplish your dreams.

- And last, don't give up. NEVER GIVE UP. I don't care if you're laying on the floor curled up crying not knowing what to do or how to do. Don't you fucking give up. It's not easy, that's why only 1% make it. Be that 1%, don't puss out & throw in the towel.

Finally when you find your loophole & exploit it... You win. Move on to the next and repeat the process.

How do I know what it takes to succeed in this biz? Since Feb 2013 (far as I can go back on my stats) I have done over $300k in PROFIT, with almost no overhead & no loans / investments.

You can do it. Disregard what others say and just fucking do it. Prove them wrong oh god it feels so good.... Good luck.

GL mate, but can I ask you what is JV stands for? is it junior VIP?
Thanks

Update:

Created Fiverr account

Created Sharecash account

Applied for Postloop account and got accepted with a rating of 4.3

Researched niche for PPD with Google Keywords Tool and found keywords
with ~10,000k exact searches (low competition)

Good luck and appreciate your honesty.

I've come from a not so disimilar situation. It's not all that improved actually. I've got a Clickbank product I'm doing now and I know that feel when you need startup capital.

Still, much can be done for free.

JV stands for "Joint Venture", where 2 people come together on a project and split the profit. This style of partnership works well bc the 2 people are not bound to one another for life, only on the particular project.

You don't need startup capital. You don't need talent.

You need skill. You acquire skill by hard work & dedication.

You'll gain a lot more skills from this forum, a lot of free and helpful info, plus you'll find some members who are very willing to help.
Sometimes failure is a good thing, it teaches very valuable lessons that you will never learn without it. Just don't let it stop you from fighting and getting what you want.
Good luck on your journey! I wish you the best! :o

I read your journeys when I used to lurk here - they were inspirational so your kind words mean a lot to me.

Update:
Created Gmail account and verified with phone
Created YouTube account and channel
Added profile picture and channel art
First video's being uploaded right now
File to be used has been uploaded to Sharecash
Created account on bit.ly*
Link to file has been shortened using bit.ly

*I thought about using ad.fly but decided against it since I suspect YT's
algorithms are definitely going to flag them as spam. Can anyone confirm?

Next Actions:
Once the video's uploaded, I'll start giving it some tender loving care using
vagex, enhanceviews and similar sites. Ideally, I'd like to pay $12 and
get high retention views from BigBuddy, since his services are highly
recommended. However, I'm going to get that once I see that the video
will stick.

Just learned from a thread here (by BHW member abuhanifa) that Microsoft
are offering a free Azure VPS trial for thirty days. (referred thread states 90 days
but it's dated info) However, you do need a VCC to sign up. I'm thinking about
using EntroPay atm. If that doesn't work, then I'll try Payoneer.

I'm excited now because if I'm able to get my hands on that VPS, then I can
start running vagex/enhanceviews bots directly off of that to get my video
up in the rankings.

P.S: Tip for any BHWers from Pakistan who are working with YT. It sucks it's
banned here by the ISPs. Do -not- use Hotspot Shield to upload videos to YT,
they'll just get stuck midway. Use SpotFlux VPN. This might apply to other
countries as well where YT is banned and people are having trouble getting
their videos up.

Good Luck OP! :)

Also are you still looking for a JV partner?

I sure am. I need JV partners from the UK. If you're interested, PM me and
we'll have a chat. Thank you for your interest.

Hey let me know how the VPS signup went. I had thought the same thing about entropay. Some weird problem with my account right now so I'm not able to try it for myself. I did get a free trial using my own personal card. It gives you a month without charging, so im going to cancel it right at the end. If you are going to be running enhance views bots and the like make sure the vps you create is at least 7 gigs ram package. I wasted tons of time on one with lower ram.

Day 2 Update:

So today I ran into some problems. Turns out, as YT is banned by the ISPs here,
running EnhanceViews and u2bviews apps are out of the question. They're simply
too slow when tunneling through a VPN. So it appears that I really need a VPS to
be able to get things up and running. I wasted a lot of time on this.

My Payoneer and Entropay accounts have gone MIA, so for the time being, I don't
have those options. Luckily, I just saw a thread here by one of our members who's
giving away some VCCs, so I'm hoping to grab one of those to get that Azure
account.

I applied to FileIce today using the website of one my previous clients, so let's see
what happens on that front. I guess it's time to grind Postloop and see what I can
do on Fiverr to get to that start-up capital.

Besides this, I read much about YouTube's ranking algorithms to prepare myself in
advance for what's coming.

Peace.

Update:

Good news - I had ten bucks in my paypal account.

Bad news - I can't use it, their system is a giving me a generic error message.
I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I'm logging in from an IP
address coming from a different country. Emailed their customer service.

!%#$'s hitting the fan right now, but I'm not going to give up.

Day 3 Update:

Got a mail from Paypal saying my account's fine - checked and it's still
frozen. I've got a feeling I'll need to call 'em up Monday morning.

Lession Learned: Make sure your payment processor works, especially
when you just moved from one country to another.

Submitted my first Fiverr gig, it's pending review at the moment.

Found three new niches to target by doing keyword research.

Hammering away at Postloop.

Downloading tools to setup this laptop for web development.

Going to go and read some adult-related methods, perhap I can
implement those without some initial capital.

No word yet on my FileIce application.

Peace,

- T.

Update:

First Fiverr gig just went active. I'm waiting for my tools to finish downloading
so I can improve the presentation of the gig. I also need to record a video to
put up there.

Next step is to promote this obviously, so I need to get a gather a relevant list
of forums where the shee...I mean clients congregate. :)

I don't believe this.

Good luck tiyowan. "Badassery and bloody-mindedness" are useful traits for this.

Day 4 Update:

I did a lot of keyword research to find more niches. Interestingly, I'm
beginning to encounter videos on YT that I think have been uploaded
by the folks here. I learned much from YT's keyword tool. :)

I haven't gotten any movement on my Fiverr gig. I'm thinking about
about trying a different niche there. Something more popular and
creating multiple gigs.

Postloop operation is working normally, so at least that's something.

Tried a bit of ewhoring today. :) An interesting experience, to put it
mildly. It's amazing how horny kids are these days. I need to develop
this further.

PayPal is proving to be an immense headache - their customer service
mailed me saying that I could start using my account when I'm back in
Dubai. How helpful. :P

Got accepted into CleanFiles and FileIce, so I'm happy about that. It
seems that CF pays handsomely for conversions from France, so I'm
thinking about ways that I can capitalize on that. (What do the French
want?)
