Just purchased and it says "out of proxies to search with" then I get a windows forms error that says contact Jrim software I used the trial before with no issues but now that I purchase it I can't even get 1 proxy not working at all at the moment

Hi Sterling, I apologize for the inconvenience - please send me a private message or use the contact form to send us a screenshot of your issue.

With regards to the "out of proxies to search with" message, it sounds as if you may have improper configuration settings. To reset your proxy filtering settings, click the 'Proxy Type' button on the main window and select 'Proxies for all purposes' (2nd item in list). If you still receive no proxies even after using that menu option, it indicates a connection issue on your end. Ensure that Proxy Multiply is white listed in any security software programs you have enabled (anti-virus, firewall, internet security, etc) or disable the security temporarily. Avast and AVG have been known to be problematic with Proxy Multiply.

Hi andy, that's very odd! I think this may be due to a conflict in the old authorization system and the new one. I have erased all trials prior to 2013, so you should be able to use the program properly now. Please let me know if you continue to experience issues!
Thanks for the notice. The trail is working now! Would definitely going to buy one if it's good.

This sounds good. I bought squid proxies and couldnt scrape google at all even after they gave me fresh ones
Sorry to hear you had bad luck with another service, fits4! Hopefully Proxy Multiply works for you. Be aware that Google enabled proxies are among the most rare public proxy type, though! My advice is to also utilize TRANSPARENT proxies for scraping Google, not just anonymous proxies. Transparent still allow you to bypass being blacklisted by Google as they process the proxy IP, not yours, for the scrapes/searches.

:congrats:I have been using this software for about six months now it is on my list of MUST HAVE programs. I filter my proxy's and can target right down to the city (in the us) and it works perfectly for what I need it to do. I would recommend this software!!
And I like the way it greets you (sometimes thats what reminds me what day of the week it is!!).

I second that. It's a great piece of software and I use it every day. I would like to make a feature request though; In the Proxy Booster addon it allows you to specify how many working proxies a site must have to remain in the Proxy Fetching URLs list. All others that do not meet this threshhold will be deleted after a set amount of days. Right now that addon lets you enter up to 99 working proxies in that field, but no more. I would like to request that field be made to enter in as many proxies as I want there. I have mine set to 99 and to be pruned every 5 days. I would like to be able to set it for 1000 working proxies from the sites I want to keep. Any below that will be pruned.

Hi jrim , I purchased this software around 2 years ago and I haven't used it till now ( or just used it a few times )

I wanted to ask you if there is any risk that by testing proxies , some of the proxies I connect to ( to test them ) to download any malicious virus to my computer.

Also where do I input my password or username ? and how do I reset my password

Hi kicka, thanks for the feedback! We will certainly modify the field to accommodate 1000 or more proxies. :)

Hi symss, that's an interesting question. Public proxies, or any proxy for that matter, are able to control the data that you receive back. However, even if the proxy sends back an EXE file in the form of a download, at worst it would just be picked up by your browser as a download and not automatically opened/installed on your computer. However, I've never heard of this, and I would imagine most browsers reject unsolicited downloads due to the large security risk posed. Your biggest risk using public proxies is that they see your unencrypted (non-HTTPS) data. I would recommend to NOT use public proxies to process any important data (financial, etc).

You do not need your username or password to activate your license, just download Proxy Multiply (www.proxymultiply.com/download) and click the 'Already Purchased?' button in the trial notification window that opens when you open the software, and enter your email when prompted. :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback, foley! Your thoughts are sincerely appreciated. :)

MALWARE ALERT:

I was about to try to this software, when Avast warned me of malware trying to install when visiting the-proxy-list.com.

Very interesting! Looks truly good. I will give it a try today or tomorrow if trial is still available. Actually, I will need various proxies in the near future so I might buy it if its good. Will post a review soon :)

Wow! I have contacted Avast. Thanks for the heads up. By the way, Proxy Multiply's website is www.proxymultiply.com, but The-Proxy-List.com is our partner website. If you're trying to download Proxy Multiply, visit www.proxymultiply.com/download

Thanks for trying out PM ddederick, hope you enjoy it!

I'm not sure what contacting Avast is going to help you if you have malware lurking on your site. What you should be doing is carefully going through the site to remove the malware. I notice that the link to that site is still in your signature, which is not so nice if it's busy infecting people who click on the link. As far as downloading Proxy Multiply, I'd love to, but the fact that several days later I'm still getting the malware alert, and the link is still in your signature, suggests to me that you software may unfortunately not be safe to use...

Phil, thank you for your thoughts! Malware and anti-virus programs "auto flag" websites routinely, and in the process, often mis-mark websites. We closely monitor and manage all of our websites - I am almost certain there is no malware present. Many times our websites are mis-marked because they are associated with proxies, and many corporate networks and systems want proxy related websites blocked because they allow circumvention of security policies.

Contacting AVAST is absolutely the right move for two reasons: if there is indeed malware, they will tell us exactly what caused them to flag the website and we can resolve the issue; otherwise, if there is no malware, we will be purged from the list. ;) However, considering Avast is alone in its diagnosis of The-Proxy-List.com as containing malware, I would lean toward it being an error.
