Do u use nulled themes/ templates for your client?

Hi, there are lots of nulled wordpress themes/html templates available.
Is it safe to used them for your client? I mean will the original developers have some ways to detect when they came across your site?
Also receiving a notice to take down site.

Well it happens rarely, but I still suggest using real paid templates. They are not expensive There are websites that sell like 30-50 templates for $50 or something and you can reuse them all the time if you want.

no they don't reach you don't use the nulled themes they can be harmful to your site with lots of virus use cracked themes!

I haven't see any site got taken down using nulled themes is it local client ?

I wouldn't risk it. The last thing you'd want is your client finding their site hacked or compromised after a couple of months; could really damage your reputation. Just spend the $30-50.

Elegant themes offers more than 80 themes for just $39. I just tested a free share here and looks pretty good. So I'm signing up with them soon. So, why take risk for just $39?

Exactly it's not worth the risk on client sites, You pay for the theme and bill the client. It's your reputation that's on stake.

if he doesnt' want to pay, direct him to nulled version, and tell him - download it and give it to me, and i wont' be responsible for site getting hacked.

in any case - DON"T bill the client for something that you havent' bought, you will be in serious legal trouble, not only from the theme owners, but also client,

Yes I used them, but I ensure that the theme is clean.

After I setup the site I always make a complete backup before sending the details to them.

IF something happen I will just restore the backup.

Now 2013 and you can buy good templates for few bucks - like themforest, so why using nulled.

I never use nulled for my client, even for my self.
If anytime I use any nulled theme, I use it just for testing purpose before I buy it.

I dont consider $50 spent on a theme anything other to access to support/updates and bug fixes. Something you wont get with nulled themes.

I suppose its down to cost. If are only charging $99 a website then you have to take a chance. Most nulled themes are fine.

Best thing to do is specialise in one theme company. For example elegant themes were suggested above. For $39 a year you get legit access to 40+ themes and you can offer your clients a selection of premium themes.

Once you learn your way around how one theme company works and you are confident with their product you will up your effieciency as you can now bang out a useable site in 2 hours without having to look around the internet to fix problems you have not come across before.

If you are using nulled/cracked themes then you are not a professional.
If you are caught and the client gets vocal then that is your business and reputation down the drain.

It is just too risky to do this for your clients.
Do not forget that your clients pay for this.
I would be at least furious if found out that my site consist of a nulled template

If you have to ask, then don't do it. You could ruin your reputation or, worse, get involved in legal action from either the theme creator or your client. Templates are cheap; get a subscription or invest in 1 or 2 good themes that you like working with.

Yes, I use malwares and adwares on clients websites.
