A Noobs Journey

Hello, I'm fairly new here but I am trying this out. I really want to earn online, ease some of the burden. I'm a full time engineering student and I work a lot to pay for it. So previously I have been using youtube to make about $100 a month which is a start but I want more. So my plan:

I have a free .tk domain: mrcompeng
I have a youtube account which will promote my website.
I use pingmyurl for extra traffic
I share it to digg, reddit, and stumble

So far I have two pages:
one is for Justin Bieber ringtones the other is for a free Bandicam download/install

I am using a PPD network, uploadbucks, I read here that some people like them so I thought I'd give it a try.

So far I have 3 Videos, one shows people how to download bandicam which is also embedded on my site and is on autoplay.
The other two videos are JB ringtone videos which link to the website where numerous downloads can be found.

I am hoping that the video ads, the adsense ads I put on my site and the PPD will net me at some point $10 a day to start.

I wouldn't recommend using a .tk domain. That company tends to cancel domains when large traffic flows in. If you need a cheap solution just buy a .net or anything but a .com.

Free domains will cut you off in no time if you drive a huge amount of traffic. Get some cheap domain .info works good as well.

That is unfortunate. Is it possible to keep the tk domain for now and when/if i see income then switch to a net info etc after, or would you really recommend biting the bullet and buying one? My main concern isnt the money my youtube pays enough to get a domain for as much as $3 a month but I already put a lot of work into this site.

For that price you should check out servinio, you can find the owner here on BHW as well.

Thanks for the tip, to register a new domain, get it hosted with protection all for a total of $10 and $1.91 a month is the best ive see so far! Thanks I will most likely be getting started on this very soon. I will ask though how easy is the website development with servinio?

You could install wordpress and install a theme on it if you're not too familiar with coding your own site.

Well being a computer engineer, I love coding so I am going about it that way, I just need to find my FTP address and I am off

If anyone is subscribed to this, I am not sure. I have however made some changes. I have a domain with servinio, they register a domain and host it. I have installed wordpress making everything much easier. Found a nice theme which is very easy to understand and use.
I have connected my adsense
As well i have all my uploadbucks links nicely placed
I have two posts, one for the justin bieber ringtones and the other for free bandicam.

I am not pinging the site and using enhanceviews to drive traffic to youtube, i will be putting the site on reddit, digg and stumble for views.

If anyone has other ideas as to how I can spread the site please let me know. I am really hoping the teen adolescent crowd will want free ringtones.
