C# and socks proxies?

Hey guys,

I've been using httpwebrequest for all of my bots. But now I realized that they don't support socks proxies?

What do you guys use to handle http requests?

Yeah... it's a bummer! Only way I found around it is doing it in Python and using IronPython to let me use it in my c# projects.

I use raw sockets for everything.

Are there any resources to learn this sort of stuff? maybe some code examples? or existing helper libraries?

meh, if speed is so important, then you shouldn't be using C#.

And sockets are just another layer of abstraction, you can still step back one to make it faster.
