helllo ,

guys 3 days i ago i signup on hostgator hosting . 3 days gone they ask many verification . i send them my id , & my full name , my last name . but they still want my paypal prove . fuck them they already waist my too much time . 3 days is too much .

now how many face this problem with hostgator ?

I use godaddy and its the best I have experienced!

i never hated them (years without a single problem) till the recent upgrades.
now it's working again without a problem so I hope the upgrade issues are over.

Have never had this issue your having, but have had many other issues with them.

Needless to say, I haven't used them since 2010.

For verification just jump on chat and say you can't provide those ID forms. They will normally send you a phonecall and ask for your password, much easier.

The requests are standard, bank, driving license, photo ID of your ring piece etc etc.
They have been asking for this info for years...

well their verification method is very hard & long . waist of time & waist of money

They asked my proofs for verification. I just left and moved to JUSTHOST. Using it without any issues.

I couldn't stand GoDaddy hosting! I guess I'm just a cPanel person...

I am satisfied with HostGator, my only critique is the times their servers go down.

I think they are ok, but every host has their issues. You were probably just unlucky.

now i m searching another cheap & good hosting

GoDaddy supported SOPA and so they will be punished for all eternity. Bluehost is good, cheap & reliable hosting. I never even think about them. Hostgator has good (not great) support, and since the server upgrade pingdom.com has been sending me "up" and "down" notices about 10 times a day or more.

BTW, pingdom is a free service that monitors whether you site is up or down, and sends you an automatic email notification when the status goes from one to the other. Otherwise I wouldn't know how frequently Hostgator has been offline lately.

The best selling point about Hostgator is that their $11.00 a month "Baby" plan allows you to host unlimited add-on domains for free.

I'm ok with fraud checks.

I don't hate Hostgator. I'm very satisfied with them last 8 years.

What country you located in? I've NEVER had issues with sign-up

The only true issues i've had were with a VPS transfer from another host (Arvixe THEY SUCK) and with their affiliate programs late responses.

Other than that over the course of 4-5 years they've been better than ANY other host.

After spending freaking years searching for the reliable and decent shared hosting - I made my choice for the uberhost. Used them for last seven years. Meanwhile VPS are good at Empire Hosting, dedicated - at layered
Hostgator is, well, how to put it nicely .... hm, not recommended. There's something about them that makes you feel that
"They are doing you a huge favor to pay them and be their customer"
