Take Action, what does it really mean? An explanation

I've seen a lot of threads recently that repeatedly say "take action".

Although do we really understand the saying take action? Or how much action we need to take? Or what actions are the best actions to take to achieve our desired outcome?

You can take action all day, although will it end in the results you desire?

For example, lets say that you are trying to work with a pay per download company. So you first try spamming your download link on your personal facebook account for 5 hours. You end up getting banned from facebook, and losing your personal facebook account.

Now you've taken action, although without the proper research on how to do ppd properly you have lost more than you gained.

If you had gone and done some research for a few days on effective ways to do ppd you would have increased your chances at success doing it.

Then your action would have not been in vain, as in the previous example.

it means stop creating threads asking what's gonna happen if you take action and start taking action.

One of the basic meanings is that you shouldn't browse most of the threads expecting that someone will post a clear unsaturated method on how to earn + babysteps. Or you shouldn't droll looking at successful journey threads and skip everything to the next thread.. It means, that you should at least try to follow what you read and try implementing same techniques yourself, or even better if some tweak of the method pops up in your head and you can do something unique. The thing is TAKING ACTION determines itself that you have to do something.. Don't stare, don't wait for "the better times". You see what someone does, you do it yourself, worse or better, at least try and keep trying, don't jump from one place to another.

Taking Action means to decide on what you want to go after and create a detailed action plan to follow each day. For example, if you were going to do affiliate marketing, you would want to do something each day to build this business. It could be creating one video a day, or one article a day. Do something that builds on your business.

This is my response to your statement.

In my statement I used the most common meaning most BHWers have in their minds while saying "take action!".
Actually, what I have now, i have been building this mindset for a few years, i ignored everyone who told me that i should stop dreaming or I should take action in searching for a simple not challenging day by day job and get used to it, because "life is not as easy as it looks". I just fake smiled like i always do in public and kept knowing that i will be living out of internet income. Same thing happened when i found my gf, when I experienced a lot of miracles in my life, success or luck, even bad times was programmed a few years before it happened. Sometimes I just can't reveal the true thoughts that i believe in, or experiencing day after day, so I just mentioned the most common way of thinking. I personally don't chase anything, i know it will come and it comes to me. I already live as I have what i will have. I wish that to everyone.

I guess when people are writing "take action" they don't mean to immediatly start working like a brainless monkey but to stop reading and dreaming and start planning and preparing. Of course you are right but it is just common sense in my opinion.

When ever I read people saying take action, i think now , NO SHIT!, over used phrase, some people get lucky with there method, it can take 1 day or 1 year you just got to keep taking action, so either post a legit method that will get results for everyone and dont say take action because it wont work for everyone, people are good at certain things and horrible at another

Yes, preparation is necessary but there comes a time when you just have to do it.
