7878's Lettermethod executed o/

Hey folks,

So this is my Review/Journey on 7878's letter Method.
I'm doing this mainly on my freetime, since I don't really depend on the Money.
My biggest Motivator is curiosity, as the Thread has well over 30 Pages of replies, and gained alot of Attention.
Also extra Cash is never wrong, amirite?
BUT, I will switch to this completly, IF it works. Because from what I imagine it can rake in alot of Cash, while not keeping you that busy.

My Prices:
One time Fee for all Packages: 350,- €. 20% goes into printing of Cards, the rest is for the setup/me.
The Packages itself go from 450,- € for the smallest one. That one offers the very basic concept, which is discussed in 7878's original Thread.
Upsells go up to 1.200,- €.
These Prices are monthly charged, and are attached to a 12 Months, auto renewal contract.

What did happen so far:
20.06.13 - Registered a company. (You cant do shit over here without a company in place)
20.06.13 till 05.07.13 - Wrote a Bot to scrape potentional Clients from Yelp. (Google etc will follow)
20.06.13 till 05.07.13 - Several Designs, Website, Business Cards, seperated Phone Number, Contract madeup etc etc.
05.07.13 till 14.07.13 - Did my first Batch of 100 Letters (not sending them yet, no VAT Number, see below)
15.07.13 - Finally got my Tax Number, instantly sent out those 100 Letters
16.07.13 - My first Call, Appointment 2 days later. Didn't close him.
19.07.13 - Second Call, Appointment made. Mother and son; turns out they owned 3 Restaurants. They wanted a 3 for 2 kind of Deal. I agreed. No close, because her Husband tackled in the very last second, and thought it was still too expensive. I left, not worth my time.
20.07.13 - Third Call, Appointment made. Appointment got postponed last minute, because the owner ran into health issues. I was kinda thankful for that, because I was super unprepared due to personal shit that happened to me.
25.07.13 - Another 100 Letters sent out
30.07.13 - First Call from the second Batch. Appointment made.
31.07.13 - Another 100 Letters done, not sending yet, because I have no time for appointments right now. This one is with a changed Main Letter. Im planning to change it for every 100-300 Letters, until I find the best one.
01.08.13 - Appointment from the Call on 30.07.13 done. Deal closed. She picked the smallest package, but hey!

Earnings so far: 5.400 €
Expenses so far (Stamps etc.): 500 €
Net Profit so far: 4.900 € (~$6,470)

There is Money outside, you just gotta go and grab it.

I'm assuming its 4900 Euros for 12 months and not per month seeing as she went for the smallest package?

Congrats on your success. Now you also have some hot leads, just because you didn't close the deal on all the ones who called you.
The fact that they called you means they ARE interested. Keep good track of them, maybe give them a discount or something..

The Call back rate isnt quite as good yet. But im working on the Main Letter.
The Close rate, on the other hand is quite okaish. 33% so far
But its just too early to tell anyway. Time will tell I guess.

Well. To be honest I could have made alot more (I assume), first of all, when I started the Company it took them foreeeeever to get things started.
During that period I was heavily demotivated, but I was still up to give it a shot

Nor do I. I invest about 1 hour a day into this. I just cant seem to find any more time to invest, eventhough I wish I could.
Still it worked. Give it a shot anyway bro?

Its for the full duration, yes. Her Contract is on 450,- € X 12 Months = 5400,- €
I didn't add the Setup Fee in the OP though.

I would consider that, if I had the time to do that.
As of now im packed with work, and cant invest more than 1 or sometimes 2 Hours a day into this. Calling them back is definitly an option though!
