Facebook ads better for a noob?

Im debating between using Facebook and adwords for promoting cpa offers (through a landing page of course)
I think Facebook seems like a better choice, its less of a headache because there is no quality score (as far as I know... can anyone confirm?)

What do you guys think?

Facebook PPC. There are a myriad of different learning resources available, my recommendation is finding a mentor as well as making a journal or connecting with others that are also running FB PPC campaigns so you can get better suggestions on what to change and improve when split testing and trying to find profitable campaigns.

Facebook is definitely simpler and has a smaller learning curve. Some offers might react better to google style keyword traffic, while others react better to facebook traffic, depends on the type of offers youll be running. I've also heard that google adwords dislikes cpa/affiliate type of sites, so Facebook looks like a clear winner.

An average CTR on FB is 0.020-0.050% while AdWords CTR is at about 2% -- so the real question is what your click to conversion rate would be... (and what would be your profit / loss out of it).

I would avoid FB as they tend to ban affiliates too easy. Why dont you try POF?

i have seen some people complain about facebook ads when using them to promote CPA offers
i think you should go with google (just my opinion )

Couldn't agree more, otherwise one shouldn't bother wasting money on facebook!

I think it's a question of customer behavior, really how many time have you clicked on a Facebook ad? I can't even think of once for myself and Greyghost is spot on.
