I understand that, but with many others getting thousands of views right after they upload doesn't make sense when I'm most likely in the same niche uploading quality videos that don't get more than 2 views in 48 hours. In no way am I giving up, I just dont want to leave money on the table because I wasn't using youtube correctly.

So obviously you haven't spent money promoting it? That's kind of the main point to this whole method. Lol

You're not getting any views because you don't know how to read. The OP is using Youtube's "promote video" option and paying for views.

99% of the people trying this won't make a dime because they aren't uploading anything unique or interesting enough to gain subscribers. I can guarantee you the OP's niche is not dash cam and security cam videos. If it was, he wouldn't of made that suggestion.

Some of you guys really need to read. It's only 6 pages so it really isn't that much time investment to learn all you can about a solid method if you are serious.

Well adwords only approved my video promotion about an hour ago so i cant tell you how effective it is yet, this is my 1st time using it. My ad campaign actually only starts tomorrow and will last for 14 days. A s for the way it works, it basically advertises your video to other youtubers. There are alot of videos on youtube that will explain it far better than i can.

If you look back in the thread, I explained how my campaigns had not started yet on adwords. As stated, I was asking for keyword advice from the people who found instant success before their campaigns started.

I dont know how to read? Maybe you should scroll back a couple pages and look and see where I said my videos were pending approval for promotion with adwords.... Also, if you read additionally on the thread you'll see many people talking about how they got 4,000+ views instantly. That is to whom my questions were directed to. I CLEARLY understand the concept and how to get there. All I wanted was some keyword advice, which no one has replied about.

First of all I would like to say that I'm new (on this forum) and I like it so far.
I'm going to try this method and I will keep holding on to it because I really believe a method such as this one could work out really well. The YT account I'm using is 3.5 years old, I already have had videos on there that generated 'some' money. (Only ?16.20 so far, to be exact) I haven't used any promotion methods though.

Although this method is good, I still advise people to read the following article:
Google "the secret strategies behind viral videos", first result

Gather more information from others, there are smart people out there such as OP that are making a (good!) living online.

Some tips from me which I will also follow myself:

1. Have patience! This will only pay off if you have enough patience. Don't expect stuff to happen magically over night.
2. Start out with a lower goal. $5,- a day is $150,- a month.

Promoting videos via adWords is good in 2 ways:

1. It's legit... no risk of being banned.
2. It only reaches people that do not have an adblocker! Having viewers that don't have an adblocker enabled generate the most revenue

Tools:

Using Google Chrome, you can download an add-on called Video Downloader Professional, it lets you download videos while watching them. No need for extra software, just click the icon in the top right and select the file you want to download.

Video downloader does not let you download YT vids, but I found a way around that.
If you have Facebook, copy the youtube video link and post it as your status. (Set the post to 'only me', so other people won't see it)
Now go to your own post, and bam, you can download it with Video Downloader Professional.

Hope someone finds use in my post/reply

I'm promoting it by submitting it to a few sites like reddit for example. I submitted it to two free sites and got 400 views today. I really have no choice but I think it might work.

I had no idea about this.

For this i use IDM (Internet Download Manager) Downloads almost anything from anywhere!

How did you do that? Don't you have to withdraw the money from the bank?
