Hater flagged my video?

Ok, so I had a video up on YouTube and it got flagged by someone who is "acting on behalf" of Microsoft. My video was ranked between position 2 and five in the last few weeks in the 'This Month' tab, but yesterday and today it gradually climbed to first position. I think due to this a hater flagged it primarily out of jealousy. The person who submitted the claim seems to have an Indian name (Navnit Kumar) and the email he used doesn't seem genuine. That name rings a bell because there were some fake accounts that were mass uploading lots different key gen videos. My video was about a Windows key gen. I think my account has one strike for this copyright claim, but my account was restricted previously because someone reported months ago. What do I do now? Does this mean one more strike and I'm permanently banned?

It's okay. He will learn from it when he gets banned, and hopefully don't do the same mistakes again.

I've already had one of my accounts banned. What mistake? I only had one video up, there's some users that had multiple accounts with all their videos the same and only mine got deleted, plus my account is about 4/5 years old.

It's just the way it goes, when you have a video like that about keygen's etc, it's gonna be an easy target to get deleted when someone flags it. I'd open several different accounts, and just put 1-3 videos max in each account. Then if an account gets banned, you'll only lose a couple of videos at most.

That guy who was mass uploading got many accounts banned already because he was making or buying lots of accounts and mass uploading loads of key gen videos in several different niches, simultaneously.

It could be him or it could possibly be the guy who I outranked, the outranked guy had 3 accounts with 3 videos that ranked on the first page of 'This Month', by searching "Windows 8 key gen".


I also found the guy's website via the email he provided, he's one of those people that does copyright/DMCA thing (Marketly).

I've been thinking about making one since the last was deleted, but I can't find a niche that isn't saturated. Also, another problem is that Enhanceviews is down for custom comments and YouTube has changed things around so that when your video ends the 'about' tab changes to the 'share' tab and your link is hidden.

in that kind of niche you gotta get used to it and keep coming back .. Its worth as long as it makes profit right ? ;P.

Yeh usually best niches got also big amount of flaggers so u have to fite to keep ur vid up and ranked :S

Yup! 1 more strike and you are out. You should consider opening new accounts and post not more than 1 videos per account. That way you keep everything separated.
