Just finished editing my first vid I made with my GoPro Hero 2, riding in my backyard yesterday :)

What do you guys think?

Any other BH'ers into watersports (the non-sexual kind)?

Is this you?? That's really amazing ! Both the work and the actual wakeboarding performance you did :)

Make more make more, pick more lakes, seas and oceans, go do it in different places and rec. yourself, place the videos on YouTube and become a partner. Make money from YouTube, travel in more locations for new videos etc if succesful, you'll live your hobby and get paid.

Well, there are no real lakes in Arizona. When I go up north, I do enjoy the non-sexual watersports. :)

Sounds extremely fun, I once had the opportunity to do it but I was too scare and I didn't know how to swim. :P Great video!

Yes, thats me ... at 43 years old, acting like I am 18 again :)

Thanks ... I've used Camtasia Studio before and this my first go with Microsoft Movie Maker ... and I'm really impressed with it. Its very easy to add slow-motion and other effects. Yeah, I need to add my adsense account to my videos and start doing some promotion. How would you promote something like this?

Thanks! Yes, knowing how to swim is a must for wakeboarding :)

I tried wakeboarding a few times but it's nothing compared to kitesurfing, sorry. Nice video though :)

I have been kitesurfing for about a year now and I can't get enough of it! If you got some good winds there you should consider learning kitesurfing...

I think it's really cool.

What's the song you used?

I used to do that when I was in my teens, and let
me tell you . . . It is not as easy as it looks! :)

Cheers! - "Wiz:

Haha .. yeah .. what you can't hear in the video is me gasping for air ... and thats no joke :)

Never tried it but I would love to! I don't think there's enough wind here and where I ride is basically a dammed up river they call a 'lake' here in Texas.

"The Scientist" ... I did a search for 'wakeboarding songs' and it was spot 1 or 2 on a list :)
You don't want a lot of wind if you get a big kite and board. You can get going from 12 knots but the fun begins at 17+

Can you translate that into landlock terms :) as in mph of winds? :)

OP you gotta try out wakesurfing. Less impact on the joints and super fun! You can ride the wake behind the boat without a towrope. @WoozyBluff Arizona has the best lake ever, Lake Havasu! I wakeboard/surf there all the time and do a little bit of partying there as well.

I get out a few times every Summer. A couple friends of mine are very talented wakeboarders. They do all kinds of flips and everything else. I've been trying to get 360s down but can still only do surface 360s. Might try to go with wrapped 3s but I really want to get a solid 360 down. Those friends of mine actually host an annual event in their backyard which is a wakeboard contest. They built their own jumps and rails. It's the most fun day of the year. Everyone just gets drunk and watches the wakeboarding. They sell tickets and all profit goes to local charity. That day is this Sunday. YES!

Yeah i've been wakesurfing as well for quite sometime, but I prefer wakeboarding. No matter how hard I try wakesurfing, I can't ride the wave without the rope. Every time I try to drop the rope, I end up fizzling out :(
