...i know its a nice thing to do and all

...but i got a very bad vibe from this. it just seems like he did it as a stunt. for money and more fame.

hes banking off of stupid people too. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/martin-s-campaign--11

i know i probably sound like a pessimist, but does anyone else feel this way? the fact that he shows the price of everything he bought, and most of what he says is just fake.

he doesnt even ask his name or anything. just buys him shit. no empathy.

am i being too negative or?

vitali is funny, he did a good thing and i can see how people got that vibe from him in this videos as he cuts off the homeless guy several times but to be fair he does it when the homeless guys says thank you too much etc.

vitaly is known to produce many fake clips where he is paying for acting and yes i feel like you he just jumped at the wagon after some other channels had great result with it

No, I am with you, I think it is nothing short of disgusting, trying to glorify himself out of other peoples misery, and make money. Sort of reminds me of Jeremy Kyle, a true parasite who makes money out of peoples problems.

He actually lives in Miami (only 20 minutes from me) and he's a real asshole. When he was on tinychat he just kept ignoring everyone and was asking for money (he said he doesn't make enough money on youtube....). This is clearly a stunt for fame and glory (now people look at him as a "nice guy") don't get me wrong he is funny (of course the zombie prank was real and extremely funny) but don't be thinking he's one of those "oh i like to help poor people" guys.

I noticed that on his youtube page he has a link to a donation page for the homeless mans tooth surgery A) I wonder if the homeless man really gets it and B) the amount needed was $2000 and according to the site $7000 has been raised with 2 weeks left to go. What happens to the extra money?

It is just a gimmick to cover his abuse, in the end it costs him nothing to have a donation button, but to the simple minded makes him look legitimate. If he cared, why not pay himself?

Thats a premier league douchebag....its just one step up from Bumfights.

Lets find a homeless guy with obvious mental issues, give him a shower and a polo shirt and send him back to the street to get mugged.

Who cares about what his motives are? A homeless man got some help. It's probably more than what most of you guys have done for someone in need.

No probably not, I just don't take a video camera with me and whack it all over the internet to try and glorify myself, I have no need to.

Good for you. You have your motives for helping people and the guy in the video has his. Doesn't matter what it is, as long as its not harming anyone and someone is getting some help. There's no reason for everyone to be hateful just cus its for "show" cus in the end, the homeless guy got something nice from it.

I don't give a damn about the motives of the person. In this case, I totally concur with mudbutt. At the end of day, all that matters is that he brought smile on that homeless guy's face. For me, that's more than sufficient. There's flip side to everything, in this case it is this guy's desire to be popular. Let him be popular, as long as he's genuinely helping or bringing smiles on the faces of the needy, he'll have my respect.

There is a place in my heart for homeless people. I try to buy them food whenever I can...but I do not exploit them or bring a camera.

Yes, what he did was a nice gesture...but lets be honest here...he did it for the camera. Good deeds like this do not need to be placed on social media.

If he wanted to help the guy and not exploit him he could have left his camera at home and not used it as a way to rack up views.

But it is what it is...and this guy got a nice hot meal and a bed to sleep in...and some clothes. For that I am sure he is thankful.

Sir, I agree with your point of view. But, don't you think that the same thing can be viewed in other perspective. His such a deed can inspire many other youths to save their pocket money and spend on homeless people in their locality. If he had given money and helped that homeless, no one would have known, but by sharing it on social media, he not only became famous, but indirectly tells others to do the same.

I believe he did do it for the camera. I have watched many of his other videos and they are funny, but this isn't the thing he normally does. He did a kind gesture to get popularity. Well...

So what! That's better than making videos like Fred from nickelodeon. At least he helped someone in this video. He might have got a lot of cash out of it, but a good deed is still better than no deed at all, and that homeless guy was so excited by all of it.

A good deed that you profit from is not a good deed it's business.

Sure the guy got a wash and a meal but tomorrow he's back to the street while YouTube man checks his channels stats.

I don't think the video inspires anybody or highlights any long term solutions to homelessness. Like I say I agree the homeless guy got a bit of humanity for a short period of his sad life but it's still exploitation.

The test of a man's character is what he does when nobody is looking. Nothing can be gathered about a man's character when the camera is running.

He's no different than the news networks that send reporters to every major disaster for viewers, ratings and benefit of their advertisers. Banking off tragedy. I call them parasites; maggots feeding off corpses for their own gain. Not that my opinion matters.

From xxx actor to kissing random girls (for herpes + views) and now helping homless people for views...uhm, I guess he is just out of ideas. It amazes me sometimes when I see what people are willing to do for money.

Haha, so all you guys saying because its on camera and he is making money off it that it doesn't count has a good deed?

So shows like Extreme House Makeover aren't a good deed then? Because they have helped so many families in need, but I guarantee they ABC made more money than this guy did.

And yeah, this guy is an obnoxious tool, but i'd much rather see videos like this than 95% of the trash on YouTube.

Vitaly. I thought it was going to be funny lol but it warmed my heart instead. And yea who cares if he is doing it just for publicity or whatever, its not like it didn't happen lol
