He didn't use the vendor sales video. I first thought that he used only the first few sec.

Uhh I was on vacation and I knew my video got removed when I got the email in my inbox, sorry about that. Anyway, yes my video was removed due to spam/mass advertising, and apparently some other fella ripped off my exact video "structure". Hell, the dude even added me on Skype. I am going to move to regular websites instead of YouTube videos so I won't be dependant on YouTube to screw me over. It will be harder to generate traffic and rank in Google this way, but hey, better than losing everything OVER AGAIN!

Since this topic details most of my methods and roadmaps my "competitor" (that term might not even be worthy at all if you use dirty tactics like this) will surely make use of it - but I didn't divulge every single step I took so he might not be even successful at all. I'd better move on to a different niche. One is already in the works - but I'm going to have to migrate from YouTube to a website, so extra time would be taken into consideration.

I'm not so sure about that we are not doing anything shady here, I believe I have read in YT agreement that we can't promote our or someone elses products in our videos. I don't know how they look at review videos, but I'm about to upload a video which is nothing else, but a promotion I don't feel so confident about that, but as long nobody flags me I should be just fine.

Anyways, I am here for another questions actually. Zerofoxtrot, I saw you can see how many and what type of backlinks your opponent video has. I really need to know what tool can I use to do that, is there a free way too see individual video backlinks? I really have no clue how to check how good my competition is, apart from just checking on-page SEO. Any advises or tools that I could use to understand how good my competition is on page 1?

just a couple days ago a blog of mine promoting a clickbank product finally got some keywords to lower first page so hops shot up, but no order form impressions, so we will see how it goes over a longer period. I'll let him get away with it. Why? Because if I initiate a retaliation it will start an endless war and I'll not be earning anything at all. Instead, I'm going to secure my future projects much stronger by using websites as mediums to my Hoplinks instead of YouTube videos which are still under the jurisdiction of the YouTube staff.

I'm really curious if his video broke copyrights. I remember some people saying that he stole the vendors video, and if thats the case, this thread was an accident waiting to happen.

Because you have 4 pretty creepy factors.

1) So many people knew his video.
2) Not only did they know it, but they also seemed to be checking >> HIS rankings on a daily basis.
3) He had all his eggs in 1 basket (this is not such a huge deal unless #4 is true)
4) **IF** he was using any type of copyrighted content, then that would seal the deal imo.

Afaik you can't flag / report a video unless its breaking some type of rule.

So we need confirmation from Zerofox that it's actually gone. And we need to know if it broke copyrights. Because if it did, it was only a matter of time before this happened and he should have known that. No offense. But we really need to know this.

Not an exact copy, but he basically stole my whole concept and timeline so he wouldn't fall under suspicion on the duplication radar of YouTube. Don't bother flagging, just a waste of time. I'll be making more than my competitor ever will.

This is why I don't give any idea or share anything of what my niches are about. There's always people out there who will just copy every single thing you've got and then claim it as there own, all while doing everything to knock you off the board.

On the bright side you still have the knowledge of how to create something that will be successful. It shouldn't be hard for you to recreate it and make it a whole lot better.

Well, YT+clickbank can earn you easily 100 bucks a day.
But you need to have more eggs in many baskets.
I remember this polish guy in other journey, who had success with it. He had about dozen of videos... Imagine the earnings if they were high quality like yours.
