My dental website. Should I start over?

Hi guys,

So, a few years back, I had a decent dental website and it was making a little money and I sold it off as I needed the cash. I started another dental website. It started getting traffic and I bought a few services for SEO. Unfortunately, I think I wrecked it with too much SEO. The worst I did was buying the "Spam gone wild" package. All the rankings went down. I dont have google webmaster so I did not get a unnatural links notice. So, whatever little traffic I got dried up and I stopped working on the site.

The site has some decent articles and the DA and PA are good. Should I just start over or is it worth it to add more content and do SEO on this website.

The site in question is eDentalHealth(dot)Com (BTW, is this a premium domain?)

I know that. I am asking should I start a new site or try putting some content and building whitehat links on the old site.

100% keep it, put up more content, maybe go for some longer tails, get more trusted links, it is still indexed and still ranks for its name.

IDK if its worth much as a premium domain, maybe to the right person it would be, anyway good luck with it

Sounds like a decent domain, as mentioned above focusing on long tail, real article marketing with quality link package (trickling and not a burst) should help to recover.

If you know you have spam links, remove them, disavow them or start a new site and keep the content.

I would remove the ad right at the top. Google penalises for ads above the fold. Otherwise add new content and high quality links.

There is no traffic as to speak of at the moment. Domain is over 3 years old though. Yeah. I did disavow spam links but did not seem to help me get my old rankings or traffic back.

I'd definitely keep it. Sign up for webmaster tools and continue to add unique content, setup social media accounts. Without sound rud you may want to use a better theme for the site too. Plus add everything necessary to pass a manual review by Google. The site has potential and I think something could be done to get it back ranking.

I'd pitch it and start over. How forgiving do you think Google is with there penalties? There are success stories, but they are few and far between. Save yourself the hassle and start a new site with new content on a new domain.

The trust flow on majesticseo is very low compared to citation flow - you have a nice amount of backlinks with diversified anchors that should rank you pretty high on at least some keywords, but with such a TF to CF ratio you have pretty shitty backlinks. No reason to stick to the old domain in my opinion.

you need to add more good contents, use some SEO methods, backlinks, keywords. You can buy backlinks or keywords from the sellers in BHW or buy articles with good quality. it will work well.

I would dissect it and restart. After all, you know what to do and what not to do.
Save the content, spin it slightly and reuse it.
Sell the domain or keep it and put brand new content, disavowing bad links or removing them, getting good quality ones.
I wouldn't count on Google doing the right thing in a short period of time. Maybe, just maybe, they will re-evaluate your website, but maybe you will be wasting a lot of time and effort.

I would keep the site and add new content to it. You have built up some link juice so I would capitalise on this rather than starting from scratch. I can provide some content if you would like some? Also I have set up a healthcare SEO group on facebook which may help you find some additional content.

Have you considered 301 the old dental website to the new one?
