Hi can anyone tell me if there is a service to help flag a youtube channel and get it deleted. Someone hacked into our youtube account, changed the email address for it and then deleted every last single video in the account. As Youtube is now with Google they really couldnt give a damn, we had hundreds of thousands of views on our videos and subscribers. I wish I could hack back into it, but if nothing else we would just like the channel removed as we started a new one. Any advice or help would be appreciated

Thanks
Dusty Rose

yes seems as though we are just gonna have to start over, waiting to hear back from Youtube, but we won't hold our breath. It seems as though this is a very common problem and you would think that youtube would have better procedures regarding this. Oh well, let the rebranding begin unless someone else has any info

Did your account got hacked in the sense of bruteforce attack/password cracked or did they somehow placed a keylogger on your PC? If your password got cracked, you may want to use a Ft. Knox password in the future just for security. You can use this site to create random bulletproof passwords: http://randomkeygen.com/

Also, if "your" channel uploads any new videos with download links or website links in the description, you can flag it and make up some shit about how this account is trying to spread a dangerous virus and that it needs to be removed before even more people get harmed. In my experience is this the only sure-fire way to have accounts deleted by YouTube. They just don't take the risk of your claim being fake.

Sorry for your account :(

Hey, Unfortunately whoever hacked the account did it through our google email. They hacked into that email, changed it so that our youtube account and emails will only go to whatever email it is that they set up and then they deleted all of the videos, so there are no videos on that channel, and now even if we did a password reset we would never get it as it is going to them. I will still use that random password generator so this doesn't happen again.

Dam dude, I'm sorry that happened to you. I once lost a few accounts with video's over 100K views. All of the accounts had a simple password and were all networked together so it was easy for the "hacker" to gain access to all of them. I contacted YT about it never got a reply.

Thanks dude, I just got a reply, it was some ish, so starting over is the only option, thank goodness this wasnt a revenue making site yet, and we will be more careful with those passwords. Have an idea of who did it though, as noone else would have cared about that youtube channel but this person...oh well, new page, new subscribers...
