are Meta tags are still important ????

i am using yoast seo plugin to my wordpress, i see the option disable in plugin by default



is it important or we can leave it??

No it's not important anymore. But it doesn't harm too does it?

On page optimization is vital; metatags might not have the same devastating effect they did 5 years ago, but they do still make a difference. Implement them and together with other onsite factors you will have a nice site ready to climb the serps.

Yes it is still important, but it does not has big affect to ranking like before.

Still Meta title is important for a website to boost up your ranking in search engine page result. But i don't thing so about Meta description and Meta keywords. Meta description - For impression and click the link not for search engine but still display in search result, make sure that use quality and impress description in order to attract the users to click on a link. Meta Keyword - Its no go longer available only for our purpose we can add too.

I don't include meta keyword in my sites, as my competitors could grab what keyword I'm targeting faster.
