URL re-directs, is this a short-term SEO strategy?

Hi BHW,

I have seen several threads pop up over the last few months about how effective using URL 301 re-directs on high PR domains can be.

From what i can gather this is by purchasing high PR domains, and re-directing them to your 'money site'.

What i wanted to know is, is this a long term or short term SEO strategy?
If i used this form of SEO, would i soon find myself de-indexed after a short ranking boost?

It is a Short term fix. The example in the post using this method are ranking for Mega keywords like Viagra.
However, each time your site gets de-indexed you add it to your list of 301 re directs.

Yes its short term, but you can redo it and bank hard.

BH is only short term, so many companies prefer WH over BH.

But sometimes BH really stays.

Seems to be working quite well, you will have some cost setting it up though....

I've run into its effectiveness really dropping off quickly... I think with all the talk about it google has decided to really hammer that method...
