Has this even happened to you?

So yesterday I wrote a nice 1200 word article for a page on my website. It was indexed pretty fast and I even got some commissions off of it the very first night.

Fast forward to today, no longer indexed.

It was ranking before and now it is not indexed, what gives?

Is it not indexed, or is it not ranking? A lot of times when a page first posts, it bounces around the serps for a while while Google tries to figure out where to place it. Your post is probably just settling into its natural position.

It was both indexed AND ranked as I got a visitor from google and converted him into a commission. Now, it is neither indexed nor ranking.

Since you said you WROTE it and not SPUN it, I don't see a reason why would it disappear. Well, actually I see one - the page was sacked, but it wasn't due to the article, but because of some shady practices used in the past.

Google is a BITCH. Right now you are first, after 5 min you are nowhere
Are you sure that you are not indexed at all???
What does google show when you search site: www.your post full url.com
For example:
site: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/589880-has-even-happened-you.html

Does it show your article???

Just the google dance. Google sucks up new content and gives a good burp for you to smell...then it dissipates and a few days later you see how good of a fart it lets go. Normal stuff here. I think it encourages people to continue to write content. If you posted one article a day like that you would rank super fast one page at a time while others settled.

Google has many datacenters. While the article may be posted in one datacenter, it may not be in others. Give Google a little time to normalize the data as lower authority sites tend to lag behind the big boys.

i think ist not normal that it get deindexed .... this is not normal in gdance so i would be concernd as well.

I've seen this too, blog posted/indexed almost immediately (minutes) but then disappear for a day or two. I'd expect to see it back if everything is legit.

Everything is 100% legit. I just submitted the page to reddit, I hope that speeds up the process.

Now thats out of the way, dont worry. It happens to my sites now and again. Sometime they are gone for a few days but they always get indexed again.

Well what I meant was that I am actually taking care of the site and doing manual links. Anyway, just an update. I still do not see the site as indexed, but someone else a timezone away sees it indexed. I guess we are pulling data from different data centers? Other than that, I have no idea.

Just an update. Yesterday it got indexed again for about 6 hours, it is now not indexed at all. Still waiting!
