I've never had any problems with their customer service. Their servers sometimes have a few weird things happen but their CS are always happy to take the time to fix it.

I have Knownhost too
But Both of them I don't like. HG's Customer Service was used to be fast and good but last time when I visited to their CS Live Chat. I waited 1 Hour and after that my number came to discuss with them.

Oh maybe they just don't like you. The longest it's ever taken me to grey spoken to is about 4 minutes. Make sure you're logged in, it seems to put you higher in the queue.I have Knownhost too

He doesn't know Jack Shit. Ignore the 'tard and get this deal. I get full service, always, either email, online text chat or by phone, 24/7. I have about 8 sites hosted on their (2nd level) "Baby" plan, and pay only $10.00 a month.
I find HG's CS the best I have ever experienced. Not just for hosting, for any service I have ever had to call.
Can't fault them in any way tbh, they always go that little bit further than the rest to be sure that everything is sorted out properly.

I agree using "HG50" as the coupon code online didn't work for me either - got "Error: Invalid coupon code entered" when I tried.

Hostgator doesn't require any more information than any other webhost service provider. Maybe this thread should be re-titled "Idiots that do not know Jack Shit posting stupid & wrong things about Hostgator".
I'm starting to see a pattern here. Any more of you newbs want to post something both wrong and stupid about Hostgator. Maybe we can get all of your stupidity consolidated into a single post, so I (or someone else) can demonstrate how wrong and stupid you are all at once, and save everyone some time.

Hostgator lately really sucks.. I'm with them for more than two years.. it was great cheap and fast hosting, but now even my simple sites there loads for 10 seconds or more or are not accessible at all.. I'm really not looking forward to moving 50 sites I have there to somewhere else, but i guess it will be the only option if they will not do something with their servers.
