How to start selling on ebay

Hi guys, I just recently registered on ebay hoping to get some cash flow going, however i immediately ran into problems. First account i tried gave me a "Limits reached" error (however this is the first thing i ever wanted to sell there).
On the second one they want me to call them
1. They have some weird number - I have no idea how to call them
2. I do not want to call them because I also have no idea about the fees
3. I do not want to call them because I'm probably trying to sell something that's not allowed under their TOS

Getting real tired of this, I've been bothering with this for the last day. Anyone knows how I can get up and running with selling on ebay?
(I also tried craigslist but they require a US number, amazon requires a UPC or whatever is that, I don't know how to provide that for a service)

You would need to call them if you want to get your ebay problem fixed. Just follow the rules and start posting your products. Since you account is new it will have a lot of limitations. They don't people sell fake stuff, so they put limits on new accounts until that seller has proven that they sell real stuff and not scamming their customers.

for new seller ebay gives you a limitation like you can only sell max item or max amount per month (for example 10 items or 500 dollars per month. also if youre new, you have to send the item first before paypal releases your funds directly to your account, im not sure it they are still doing that for new sellers

Calling them will be more helpful for you. If you were really in trouble, they can suspend your account easily. Pick up the phone now so you can stop worrying.
