Spam testing. Lets see what happens.

"Bringing the sites back after they tank" is the main thing that we are testing. The act of tanking the websites is already well known. So all the well known ways to tank your site we are doing and then testing our methods to bring them back to see if our methods work for each way a site is tanked.

Get it now?

Nope. Sites get "tanked" because of too much spam, and you are theorizing that the solution to too much spam is EVEN MORE spam???

Am I the only idiot in the thread?

Can you tell us the quality of the site? How many pages are indexed?

Nope.

You dont get it bro. READ the original post.

We are tanking sites in various ways. We are doing this to make sure our methods to bring them back work for any site that got tanked. Maybe it tanked because of anchor text diversity. maybe it tanked for duplicate content. maybe it tanked for blah blah blah.

We are testing various methods to tank domains so we can TEST OUT METHODS TO BRING THEM BACK.

I have no said what our methods are. We will be launching a BST once we feel confident that our methods are solid.

Hey friend. What is the domain age and its general niche? Also you said you were using just 1 anchor. Is that a niche related/site optimized anchor? Would be nice to know these to get a better representation of all the factors involved. Good luck with you testing.

its around 11 years old.

niche is technology.

yes its a niche related optimized site.

11 years old...
you are gonna need a lot of work to get it tanked. subscribed, keep us updated bro

Wow, nice study. What don't use tiered link building for your blog with this spam?

With those link amounts, you can get almost any site ranked for a short period of time. Mix up more link platforms and you are sure to rank for a week or so before you site tanks. After it does, don't expect it to come back.

id love to see al tanking case studies. but so far its a ranking case study - which is also interesting in some way.
just hope unoike other case studies this goes full. usuall all end on few posts of OP :)

you didnt read my post.

we want it to tank because we have methods to bring it back. But we are tanking sites in various ways to make sure our method is fullproof.

we are still at #1 which blows my mind. Im guessing it wont tank until google rolls out another update?

I thought their updates were always "on" and constantly going?

there's one more day to 13 days deadline. google updates is on, I think, there's new sites up and downs everyday.
why don't you start from pushing your site to rank #1 and then take it down? that's where a site should begin. like everything comes from dust goes to dust.

This is at #1 currently. has 110 monthly searches. there is no money in this keyword so thats why we are using it to test.

OP, don't you think the keyword you are trageting has very low searches, you should at least try a 10k+ seaches keyword for this spam test.

Gullsin, one of my site targets 100s of those mini keywords with low volume, they tanked hard, since a year- so my guess is google does not care (if it is not a top kw like payday loans ect...) very interested cosmic. would you want to check my site out for another paid test?

You site might already flaged with spam, so its does not matter, u build 1 link or 1 million.

I heard with fresh site or old domain. 10,000 to 20000 links work perfect. too many links flag spam quickly.

If your study won't prove that huge mass spam can push & keep your website on the #1 spot, it will show for sure a great way to kick& run some good $$ :)
