Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me laugh at least once. There would be far less joy in my life without her, and NO ONE gets on my property without me knowing it. When strangers come to the door or to visit, she places herself directly between them and my wife. If they move toward her, she throws up her hackles and gets ready for battle. It's an awesome thing to see. When I am not here, I do not worry about my wife's safety.

She doesn't really fetch though. After I taught her to fetch (took like 3 minutes), I taught her to play keep-away. She likes keep-away much more than fetch, so although she is a retriever, she doesn't really "fetch" anymore. She retrieves just fine, then won't give whatever she fetched to you.

WOW, 17 years old? Mine is 12 - so I have my little cat friend hopefully some more years :) Hope your Poki is doing well for some years still to come :)
 
7-ish Merican breed Coon Hound which was made from the Fox and Blood hound. His flavor is the Redbone. His serious bark almost hurts the core of your body. He sure makes my brown eye pucker from time to time...

That's a really awesome idea. I am planning to buy a new pet too...probably a hamster and maybe even a parakeet. My dog and I need some extra company lol :D

AND since my dog's parents have both won awards at Crufts, he comes from good stock.

A cat . pretty much looks like Garfield. Gosh I love her so much :)
 
Our family has a dog and two cats (one is a kitten). I own my 75 gallon saltwater aquarium reef and a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium with an electric blue crayfish. I also have a 20" bearded dragon. :)

We have a boxer/pit mix named Sadie. Now you would think she would be an excellent watchdog, but she is afraid of her own shadow and will not go out for nothing if it rains or snows.
 
i have 7 chickens ,4 cats ,some fish ,2 birds ,some turtles , and some geckos has run away

that's all keeping me busy every morning
