Hello!

So, I will try to keep it as short as possible. Since I recently joined this forum and have just some basic knowledge on how IM work, I decided to try out Youtube + PPD/CPA locking. Though as a newbie I have a quick question and would love to hear your opinion on what would be the best option. Keep in mind that the budget I will start with is very low and I would like to work my way up, rather then spend money and quit.

What do you think would be the best?

1) In description box place locked link, so it would be straight forward to visitors? Just click, complete survey and get the file/link to download?

2) Lead to my website, where would be different niches or make a website for a particular niche? I won't get into calling the niches out, but they are similar.

3) Allow them to download the file, but it would have zip locker and lead them to my website where, the password would be content locked?

I recommend bringing them to a website with a content locker. All of the strategies you mentioned will work - I have personally tested them all.

Although there is one extra step for users I noticed increased conversions with a good looking website. I also get lots of organic search traffic from Google.

Thanks for the reply. Also have another question, since you mentioned good looking website and organic search traffic. Do you go for specific "keyword" type domain (keep in mind I'm thinking to use various niches in website)? Or some random domain name would work just fine?

If you havent noticed yet, there is "IM Journey" section here in BHW and youtube is quite popular now, while having some free time you can hop there to read some stories, there you can find many techniques, good ideas and solutions in different methods. Nothing more to add, just have a look if you havent been there before. ;)

BigBadW - I saw the section and that place is very inspiring and full with useful stuff. Actually it's the reason why I will start off with youtube, easy for new ones to feel the water. I posted here, because I wanted to see others point of view.

You can get away with going for a broad niche domain. So if your providing keygens for example you can register keygensworld . com and redirect people to keygensworld . com/specific-keygen.

Make sure you pick a good looking template and remember that the better your website looks the more money you will make. I personally prefer putting the content locker in an iframe instead of locking the entire page. Just a suggestion!

Let me know if you have any more questions I have had lots of experience with YT and CPA :-)

O_OO_O - iframe you mean like when they click download button, then it pops-up?

I'm thinking to use wordpress theme, so designing wise should be alright.

I usually upload a php file to the server with the unlock script and download link. I then put it in an iframe on the appropriate page like this:
Code:
<iframe name="inlineframe" src="http://your website . com / content locker.php" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" width="500" height="180" marginwidth="5" marginheight="5" ></iframe>

More info on iframes here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp

Just use the text (HTML) editor instead of the WYSIWYG editor.
