Hi everyone!

I'm new here, and I'm finding my experience to be a bit overwhelming I think. I received a message from the owner welcoming me, and listing some rules. Within that rule stated that if you are selling items, you must sell in the trade/sell area, and pay the $30 fee. It also said that, if you are selling a service, you may post that in the freelance area.

I attempted to respond to this email asking the owner if I can indeed post my advertisement for my service in the freelance area. It wouldn't let me though. So I posted it, and it was deleted, and I received a warning from an admin. I couldn't reply to him either. I think it's a little counter productive.

Anyway, I would like to advertise here because this forum seems to be quite active, so could anyone please help me out with that? I would like to sell my freelance web development and design service.

Thanks so much!

Luna:D

Edit: It also says I got an infraction on top of the warning. I lost 3 points! That can't be good lol

P.S. If the owner of this forum ever reads this message, perhaps you could ask your admins to go a little easier on new members. They are so fast in their infractions. Like sharks. Very aggressive lol

I don't see anywhere, you can sell in freelance area. If any member requesting for particular service in hire a freelancer section, you can reply them.

I reversed one of your infraction, as 2 mods initiated action same time.

I'd like to take this time to mention a few important forum rules that you should know. Failure to abide by these rules can result in your account being terminated without notice.

1) Do NOT attempt to sell anything on this forum outside of the the Buy/Sell/Trade section. There is a $30 fee to post a thread there, which is non-refundable. The only exception to this rule is if you are selling a service, which can be freely offered in the Freelance/Help Wanted section.
2) Do NOT upload or share any software that is listed in the Prohibited Software list.
3) Do NOT post live links to your website or blog in any of your posts. If you need to post a link, obfuscate the link in a format similar to this
4) Do NOT promote other forums here
5) Do NOT PM spam our members, or solicit any sales via PM
6) Do NOT post excessive "thank you" posts for the purpose of inflating your post count. If you wish to show your thanks or appreciation to someone, please use the Thanks button.

See it? :p Don't feel bad. It must be hard policing a forum that enjoys so many rules, you tyrant, hehe

It means you can sell to members who are requesting in hire a freelancer section and not by yourself posting the sales thread.

Right after it says you must pay $30 to post, it offers an exception. Perhaps it's a cultural difference. :squint:

Don't worry, I don't blame you. It must be difficult being an admin of this forum. All you get to do for fun is run around looking for innocent new users to give infractions too. I'm just thankful you're not a police officer, you might arrest everyone on this community!

You are banned but I am sure you are watching the thread.

Click on the Hire a Freelancer section. See what it says?

Ask for help from a freelancer or another member.

Even if you don't understand the rules it's clearly put just below the category.
You didn't replied to someone that needed you as a freelancer. You tried to sell.

It's simple logic ffs not science.
