Buy a high pr old domain and start with making a website with initial 20-30 articles written by you. Then start accepting guest posts in exchange for a backlink. Articles will increase and so will be the traffic and so will be adsense clicks.

If you do some good KW research you can setup/build a few MNS sites, do the SEO/writing manually and start earning through adsense or affiliate sales, and you will learn a ton in the process. Initial investment is only needed for domains and hosting. 10/day is extremely possible in a few months, probably sooner.
just be sure that you carefully analyze your competition, whether or not the niche u choose is profitable, etc.

Thanks thats good to hear, i spend most of my time at home so i am willing to spend that time generating income. I can spend money its just that i dont have that much cash behind me at the moment, how much would i typically need to spend on SEO to begin with?

I wouldn't recommend spending money on SEO yet. That's when you're more experienced and just want to cut down on time/effort. Also, there are a TON of "SEO services" out there, and if you don't know what you're doing or what to expect, then you're more than likely wasting money. I'd recommend trying to continue learning from this forum and implementing what you're learning. There's a lot to it, so don't try to learn it all at once and make sure you're always applying what you're learning. A lot of people get interested and just spend a lot of their time reading instead of doing.

Based on my 3 month "Lurking" in BHW here's my answer to several of your questions.
Go for the method which best suits your schedule, resources, budget and knowledge. Go for something that you know a lot about or will try to learn a lot about. There are many methods available in BHW and you could choose among them. This answer also applies on whether you should choose Adsense or Amazon.
it is very possible to earn round 10 pounds per day. Some actually earn around 100 dollars per day. The thing to note though is you've got to sustain it. Maintaining methods is essential if you intend to make a regular living. Upscaling Methods would help you in earning "more".
I suggest you also pay attention to what motivates you and get enough rest. Know "why" your doing your work. And keep it in mind always. This will help you to push on even if you get discouraged while starting out.

yeah i've been reading more and more on here and now i've got so many methods to choose from i don't know where to start. i'm not afraid of spending a lot of time on this but i just don't fully understand everything yet so i'm hesitant to start. yeah it would be good if we could share experiences and perhaps motivate each other to get going.
