Many of experts know about this but its for those who don't know about it.

Alexa sucks. I prefer my website to be ranked at the bottom 10 and that I earn $xxx daily than having my website ranked at top 100 and earning a few cents. It is easily manipulated anyway...as you can see.

Of what use is ranking in Alexa?

I'm sorry Google does in anyway use this bases for ranking a site rather Alexa ranks site based on traffic a site receives.

For example, the site that receives the most traffic in the world either from search engine, offline, radio, directories, forums e.tc is ranked number 1 and the least site with traffic is ranked last, million or billion, i don't know or care just like i don't give a hoot about Alexa ranking....

The only reason i might look at Alexa ranking is when i want to buy a site, even at that i will ensure where the traffic is coming from is real or move on, any other thing is baseless..

I think Google etc would get suspicious as most of the traffic is from China. I tried it a few times before and it did nothing - with all the Google Algorithm changes being rolled out, you might want to be careful how you generate traffic to your site (especially if you are using artificial means).

thanks for the link,actually,in order to increase alexa ranking,not only you need to focus on bring more traffic,but also should focus on supplying high quality content,so they all will see visitors like to go your site frequently,and this give more credit on your rank

But I share a linked of my site(Crazylearner) whose article name as "Cmd tricks " on alexabootsup.
I got boost in alexa rank as well as Google searh engine , i got lot of traffic from google as search querry " Cmd tricks "
Even when some search about cmd tricks i am in top 10 result of google !!
