No, he's talking about spoofing the Browser UserAgent string. There are plugins for this, check this out:

from my understanding sites that track browser fingerprints can identify plugins and the like correct me if im wrong. the point is so that sites that identify you using your browser fingerprint via your screen resolution, user agent, browser version etc wont be able to identify you as easily. will the plug in work? or is there no way around this?

what are you trying to achieve. Give some more details for more better answer.

If you are talking about user agent that is one thing. If you are talking about about the actual browser fingerprint, that is another. To change the browser fingerprint you need to change screen resolution, say from 1440 x 900 to 1024 x 768, uninstall or deactivate plugins, uninstall/install fonts, etc. You could start at this website: https://panopticlick.eff.org/ .

i havnt messed with it in awhile, but at last count there were 70-something variables passed thru the browser, amd mine was at the 0.0901 in uniqueness. i installed two m0zillas and left everything default on the new one - raising it 7.0^percent.
