Hedgy - I've been reading for what seems like the last 3 weeks straight! There is so much conflicting and contradictory info out there when it comes to making a quid or two online. Every method or guru rubbishing what I'd just read as the right way.

Hopefully this forum offers some real truths about what really works.

Got a few domains, ready to buy hosting and then no doubt will have plenty of noob questions to annoy people with!

Yes there are quite a lot of self confessed, know all gurus who actually know fuck all and spend most of their sad lives bashing threads. To find something which works, you just have to try, and try hard, not just give it a little go. Good luck.

Hi there, I'm also new here and also agree about the gurus rubbishing everything. My advice would be, don't be too gunshy, there are plenty of things I have found that DO work, that won't suddenly get you kicked out of Google like these 'gurus' try and make out will happen. Just tread carefully and do things naturally and steadly and you'll be fine, don't be afraid to try things though is definitely my motto.

Hey Slim_P, i am a UK goer myself, around 1.5 years ago I took the plunge and went into IM fulltime, Now i must say to you i will never regret it man, It was the greatest thing I could have ever done!

The reason why lots of info is contradictory is that what will work for my website might not work for yours and vice-versa. The best thing to do is indeed research, and split test different methods, then just do whatever works for you.

Feel free to ask questions, the only questions which people find annoying here are "how can I make money online?", "please help me make money online", "wut iz black hat SEO?" ... etc.. you get the gist. Noob questions are fine as long as they are smart questions . Also , you can read the stickies in each subforum, they have amazingly comprehensive info in them..
