Using scrapebox to search in the past..

Hello dear BHW friends...

I want to search with scrapebox for example in the timeline 2002 - 2008... is there an option for this? Or can i use an operator?

i'm trying: keyword -2013 -2012 -2011 etc...

There is a button called "TIME" above proxy box in scrapebox. You can try that!

I just answered the same question in another thread for someone else, so i'll do a copy/paste.

In the custom harvester, just add this to the end of the Google URL

&tbs=cdr:1,cd_min:2002,cd_max:2008

Also on the additional header / settings tab, just add a useragent for a fairly modern browser. For some reason Google doesn't show custom date range results for older browsers. This useragent will work:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:22.0) Gecko/20130405 Firefox/22.0

Just been using it for one month now.. results are great...Scrapebox never ceases to amaze me


Edit: when i try the custom harvester, testing works.. it brings back all the test websites. But when i want to scrape with my custom footprints, it doesnt bring up anything. I used a useragent.

Try the custom search engine without the user agent.
