Is blog commenting still working

The best advice that I can give you is to buy SB and a new domain in total $67 and start your own test. Don't forget SB have many others uses then just mass commenting.

From my experience they still work, not as before but they still have their place in a SEO campaign.

You must take in consideration the link building velocity, the anchor variation and be able to keep a constant rate.

But as I said the best suggestion that I can give is to start your own test.

Got your point

They work but they are a lot *more* work then they once were. If you can hire good people to do it for you so you can pump out good numbers it's the best way to go. The question isn't whether or not they work but how efficient they are compared to other forms of driving traffic.

Supposed to come across a series while surfing net. " blog commenting is getting outdated". But still we are able to find many crazy lovers of blog commenting. is they still working ? is there any strategies to make it worthy.. Interested member please share your views here,,

Yes, they still work.
Yes, you need to use strategies to make it worthy.

1. Try to find ******** blog comments. Things like dropmylink can help with this, or putmylink - something like that.
2. Don't use exact match anchors everywhere.
3. Make relevant comments so they stick.
4. Make comments on pages/topics relevant to what you're trying to link/rank for.

:)

I guess people engaged with blog commenting can provide the best answer in this discussion

I think, High PR blog and Unique blog comments will always be in fashion. So, that's the key.

it really depends, one thing for sure is that it still works great for tier 2 links and such. high PR blog comments that are manually approved are like gold, they can rank a website in and of themselves.

I've had a bit of a bump with blog commenting.

That said, I don't go overboard with them.

My thinking is that any reasonable website would be getting mentioned in blog comments and continued to get mentioned, rather than just having web 2.0 links for example. Also, when I make links to websites in blog comments (I'm not talking about link building) I tend to use just a naked URL.

Just the way I use them - I don't get too aggressive - I'm sure others will act differently.

If blogs comments are niche relevant then it will help your website to increase the SERP instantly or also for long time.

If blog page URL is high PR then it will increase your website PR and SERP but slowly.

Resultant: Its still better for link diversity, but never focus too much on him.

The problem with blog comments is getting hammered by a manual review. Any fool can decide to ban you manually if they think comments are meant for SEO. Especially if competition reports you.

Again silly question, No blog commenting is not working and everything is dead go and sell your PC.

its wokign but you need good lists now and rather nto use it direct.

Blog commenting still works. Try commenting on popular stories. I'm using Disqus right now. It allows you to put a link to your website right in the headline of your profile like so:

Many people are working on ******** non relevant blogs because as a SEO expert i think if we will work only on the relevant blogs then it will be good for us. Non relevant blogs search engine will be flagged so it's a good approach if you work only on the relevant blogs.

If its seems natural commenting yes , would help.
Otherwise are really spam links for google and you will have problems with your SEO.
If i were to choose to use it or not , i would prefer not using them in a SEO campaign.

Yes blog commenting still increases both SERP and site PR although it is relatively difficult to find high PR blogs with do-follow links nowadays, most are no-follow and are therefore not as effective. Make sure not to post spammy comments though, try to make each of them unique and you will not have any issues!

Blog comments from high PR and niche relevant sites works good to me.

blog commenting works effective only if you submit comments by considering its strategies like niche relevancy, their reputation and other factors
