Starting Over From Scratch (technically)

After trying to find other ways to monetize my blog, I found that my niche isn't that profitable at all. My best bet was adsense and from reading around, CPA isn't really popular for it and the clickbank products are garbage. I decided to move to a new niche. It's a bit harder but a lot more profitable. I've also found a couple of longtail keywords that should be fairly easy to rank for.

This is my plan:
-I have a blog with 2 articles on it so far (I'm aiming to have around 100-150 total).
-I plan to do minimal to no off-site SEO.
-I'll use social media traffic to bring to the site.
-My onsite SEO will be perfect just so I have a chance to rank on the SERPs if ever I plan to build backlinks in the future.
-I have a YouTube account with 3 videos uploaded so far. I'll rank them on the SERPs. I'm also using U2bViews to get views.
-I have GSA SER and I plan on using it to build links (social bookmark, social profile and web 2.0s) on the videos (is this a good idea?)


How will I monetize?
-I will use Adsense on my blog as well as a popup that captures emails. I'll be sending clickbank offers to those emails.
-For YouTube, my videos are "how to's" and in the description, I have an affiliate link to a product that answers the "how to's" as well as a link to my site so I can potentially capture more emails and/or Adsense clicks.
-My only worry about YouTube is that my videos are copied but spun (video blaster or whatever it's called) and it has added intros from movie maker.
-I also want to do CPA but I keep getting rejected by networks. But I won't worry too much about it because I haven't really read on how to do CPA besides content locking.

Here's a flow chart for you people who like picturing things:

However, I'm not completely abandoning my old blog. I'll still put an article on it once every few weeks. I won't be doing SEO on it intensely anymore. (My rankings are going down anyways after penguin 2.0). I'll still be posting links to facebook groups and tumblr so that's where my main traffic comes from. I range around 300-600 visitors a day. The site earns me $0.00 - $2.50/day and at the end of the month, I usually get a few days with $5-$10/day.

That being said, my total finalized earnings from Adsense within the 2 months (the previous months barely made anything) is $45.
It's definitely not a lot and I'm still in a negative in terms of profit.

BUT it's a new beginning with a fresh start and I am determined to start banking hard the coming months. My ultimate goal by the end of this year is to be making $150/day.

Good luck man, it seems that you have a pretty solid plan. I would suggest sending some retention views to your videos so that they rank better both in Youtube and in Google.

High rentention views can be purchased from services here on the forum for a pretty good price. I have had a lot of success purchasing high retention views.

Thanks! I actually have been looking at some fiver gigs and bookmarked some but I'll look here too. Hopefully cheaper. But I plan on doing retention views next week since my videos are only a few days old

Update:

Still making around $1.00+/day with adsense.
For my new blog, the only traffic coming to it so far is tumblr. I'm still waiting to get accepted to multiple facebook groups before I will start posting my articles.
One of the articles for my new blog is at 81. For the youtube video ranking for the same keyword, it still is nowhere to be found. I suck at ranking videos.
Haven't gotten any subscribers yet too but hopefully over time that will change.

Yea man. It fucking sucks lol but it's what's working for me so far unfortunately. I did apply to a CPA network though and instead of YT+Clickbank I'll switch to YT+CPA. Only reason why I'm currently not doing CPA is because all I keep getting rejected unfortunately.

Yea. I'm looking searching up other CPA networks that allow content locking too right now.
If any of you have any suggestions to where to apply please tell me! I've been rejected by Adscend Media, Peerfly and Maxbounty. I'll probably also look into PPD in the meantime too just in case I can't get into any CPA. Less profit but hey it's a start

Got accepted into cleanfiles! Gonna switch from YT + CB to YT + PPD. I have collected a ton of ebooks with giveaway and resell rights so I'll upload those.

Update:
Opened up a new site for the main purpose of landing pages. It's a .pw domain but I'm gonna return it (hopefully) and get a .com or .net or .org instead. Basically since I'll be doing YT + PPD, I'll have 2 links in the description. One directly to the locked file and one to the site which will then also link to the locked content. The main difference though with the 2 links is that if the site ranks, I have extra traffic and I have an optin popup too and will build a list and try monetizing from that.

I haven't been too productive this weekend though. Shit happened and I've lost motivation to do anything (temporarily). Long story short, I applied to transfer to a different school for a program I actually liked and found out on Thursday that I was rejected because of my shit-tier GPA I got from a program I didn't have a passion for but did it just for the money (pre-med)
Lesson to those wanting to go to university: only go if you're 100% sure you know what you want to do. If you end up not liking what you're doing, you most likely won't do good. Also don't take the full load the first year.

UPDATE:

Made my first PPD $$ today!!!!!!!
I created the video 2 days ago and today I signed into cleanfiles to find 1 download.
All I did to the video was add some retention views and likes to it using megayoutubeviews.
What's bothering me right now though is that the video isn't even ranking for my main keyword. I'm not sure if it's ranking for any other keywords but right now I don't mind because it's only 2 days old and I made over a dollar from it.
