I am trying to run hits onto IMDb pages which causes the ranking of that persons STARmeter on IMDb to go up. I was doing this with success with a program called JingLing until a few weeks ago when IMDb changed their algorithm which now discounts those hits. When IMDb senses that a bot is generating the hits it penalizes that persons STARmeter by making it go way down. Last week when I tried Traffic 1.4 bot with private proxies on someones page IMDb penalized the page badly. I also used General Lee's traffic bot with private proxies on different pages, while the pages didn't get penalized, they didn't respond to the traffic at all. What I wanted to know was how I can go about figuring out what the algorithm of a page is and how I can make it think the traffic is real using private proxies and the bot program. Is this something I can do with either the Traffic bot or General Lee with the right settings? Or do I need to commission someone to tweak or build a new bot that can accomplish this? Thanks a lot for the help.

Hi was wondering if you had any insights as to this new IMDB algorithm? Have you found a way to work around it for hits to raise starmeter?
THanks
