I played (exchanged emails) with a nigerian conman for weeks knowing well that he was
fraud. I just enjoyed it - against my one mail, he used to send three all with pics and everything.
Ha Ha.... I really wonder why these places still exist ? No country should allow anybody to enter on a nigerian passport. That would cure them, I guess !

Don't generalize like a fascist. There are over 153 millions of people living in Nigeria. Do you think all they are scammers, corrupt leaders or drug dealers?
Why don't you want to ban Japanese or Italian to enter a country only for the reason that they have Yakuza or Maffia organizations?
Every country has his own criminals, but criminals wouldn't survive without honest people in their place of living.
I see you can take care of yourself to not fall in a scammer's trap. I am only frowning upon what do you have to enjoy from playing with an obvious criminal. I hope you aren't admiring him too much.

You are welcome Ayobami. Your country needs more proudly Nigerians and probably one or two great leaders of whom all Nigeria to be extremely proud.
Only good example of proud citizens will help improving things in a country.

Yes, you are right that one should not generalize. After saying that, there is something called collective responsibility and reputation. If you just google "nigerian scam" one gets pages on it. Even Wikipedia has devoted a complete article ( a v long one) :

This is flourishing since 1980 and seems like this trade is being passed from generation to generation.
Every country has its problems but it does not mean that if you have economic problem that you start scamming all over the world and take other's
hard earned money.

Seriously, it amazes me this stuff is still going on. I actually counted it up last year. Between scams like this, and the lottery stuff, I actually pocketed a cool $52, 365, 217.09 last year across only my primary email addresses.
I think we can one-up these folks though. I've yet to see an email claiming I won $1,000,000,000 in the intergalactic lotto network, and that I need to send my contact information to some dude in the Andromeda galaxy.
Sadly, some bozo doesn't respect his identity enough not to fall for this. Riotess. I'm glad we're all sharp enough to pass on this kind of stuff.

I wonder if you could somehow trick some of these dipshits into sending you $100...
Tell them you just changed bank accounts because your old bank wouldn't let you keep more than $100,000 in your account there, and that you can't withdraw any money for a month while the transfer is happening. Tell them if they wire you the $100 needed to speed up the transfer process (via Western Union) then you'll be able to give them the bank account number within 1 day of receiving the money. Beg for their help and act dumb and helpless. Pretend like you really believe in their offer lol. Setup a PO Box and maybe even a DBA license and get the money wired to that contact info.

best thing to do is to trace route the emails to see if you get an ip address most of the time if you have a catchall you can find loads of different emails from the same server. I*f so find out who owns the server. what contry who everrything you can. Then you say you found the link and there was child porn there. If you contact the right people the server will be all 500 errors from then on. Last time that worked was over a year ago. I had to use it because i kept getting ebay emails about real listing I had going and they were getting really good at it. so i had to stop it to keep any incompetent employees from ruining me.

I got one not that long ago from someone that wanted to marry me and then was going to send me my 8million..funny since i am a female...even funnier, i have multiple yahoo accounts..so i recieved the same email 3 times..one was to my husband...i sent a message back calling foul and telling them off as scammer and got an email in return stating that it was not a scam blah blah blah..my return email mentioned the fact that they had emailed me twice and my husband once with the EXACT same email...amazing, i have yet to hear from my nigerian lesbo lover..i really could have used the 8million...

LOL in the past week i have had 3 emails about family dieing in a crash and that im owed between 9.5mil-19mil. They really need to come up with somthing new!
