Best way to post updates on pages

I'm starting a humor page and my doubt is the best way to post the pics and lead people to my site.

The question is where you get more visitors to your website
So maybe a mix of updates will do best...

Yeah, pics will grow your page. Links will drive traffic to your site. I find that links on my fan page will drive about 2% (of my fan base) to my external site, but very very small number of likes and comments. Mix it up to create page growth and drive traffic. Test and tweak. See what works for you.

From my experience, the pictures, with the link as a description may well get a lot of interaction but the link will get barely any clicks, i find when i just post links, i get way less reach but up to x500 more clicks so i guess you just need to test and see what works best for you.
