Better Ways To Monetize Humor Sites?

I have setup a humor site/blog yesterday and I have a few 100's visits in two days so far. I tired applying for Google Adsense but I was rejected because the site has few or no written content. I have signed up for CPMLeader and I have posted some ads on the site but the payout is very low because of my traffic (since I'm just starting). Is there any suggestion I can get about how I can get more traffic or a better way to monetize the site/blog?

I think you have misunderstood. I told OP to remove his site from this thread.

I told him to do this as this is a public forum so anything could happen to his site.

Someone could steal his content, attack his site, do Neg SEO on it, etc.

I never said they aren't good for making money, I wouldn't know I have never tried a humour site

Humour page is very hard to monetize..

Try buy and sell ads, or CPM based ads.

First you would really need to put content, but if you grew a userbase website it can run autopilot.

i have a humor site too , im currently running adsense on it but im not making anything (a few cents everyday) , i get about 300 visitors per day with more than 1k page views , im trying to joing busellads now i hope it works better

I think adsense don't work with humor site so I think you can use infolinks, adhitz or chikita within your site. Chikita is like adsense but not the Adsense. Cheers.

you can create a FB fanpage to market your website,get likes and post funny picture with your website link,people love to visit this kind of site.you will get more traffic,but as the statistic shown by other people,the CTR on this sites also not high,because people looking for fun here,few of them would like to click the ads,
have a high converting theme will help

then you'll get an idea.

If you are getting rejected by adsense,try media.net

try collecting an email list... and pump offeres once a week to the list... a email list is very powerful. no matter the niche
