I am having problems blocking an ip address on Kaspersky. It is a lot more confusing than any other AV software I have used. Can someone help me out here?

Thanks ahead of time.

Geez, how can I help you? Go to Kaspersky's firewall setup and update the black list or block list or blick list, whatever it calls it these days....

I forgot to mention that I have pure 3.0. I can get all the way to adding a packet rule but then I dont have the address or specific address option anywhere.

Sorry, I can't help you if that is the case. I have got an Internet Security here.

The reason I posted it here is because I cannot find an answer on google. The results are for older kaspersky products or for other ip rules. If you find one please show it to me.

I guess Im switching back to bitdefender. Which do you guys think is better, Bitdefender or Kaspersky?

This is for windows 8

Thank you for calling Kaspersky Black Hat Support. Is there anything else I can do for you?

Great Job Kaspersky Black hat support, you showed me exactly what I read 2 hours ago, one problem like I stated above I can do all this except I get stuck on these steps. It doesn't have an option for specific address. It is either subnet address, any address, or address from list.

  • Configure settings of the network service.
  • Allocate range of addresses.

Your doing great, being that it is your first day on the job.
