On-page SEO vs Off-page SEO

I do know what each means, but how do you do on-page seo and how do you do off-page seo? Does anyone know any good techniques that he could suggest here?

On-page SEO means the SEO done your website admin panel.
Off-Page SEO mrans the SEO done by building backlinks, In this phase of SEO we don't need the access to your admin panel.

OP! If you really don't know about this, here is my answer..

On page SEO - consists of work done within the site which you want to rank! In detail, deciding what should be in the site and what should not be in the site. This included lengthy lectures. But in beginning this is more than enough!

Off-page SEO - The works which are done out of the site. For example, Link building(that you should have known already), gathering social signals and whatever brings your site to the top!

It's a very broad question. Like many others have said here; use the search button and read up on some of the post within this thread. Once you feel like you understand the techniques, then ask more specific questions.

Well.. there are different ways to do each and rank that get affected all the time by google\'s algorithms. I read on a link above that I should avoid duplicate content. That is HOW you do on-page SEO, not WHAT it is.

On page seo means optimizing your website and making changes on title, meta tags, site structure, site content, solving canonicalization problem, managing robots.txt etc.

Off page optimization means optimizing your web presence which involves backlink building and social media promotion.

I've hardly posted anything because to be quite truthfull any question I have the answer is here with bells on it. If it's not here I always stumble on something which adds to the picture and helps me eventually get to the answer.

Could you imagine how much time you would spend writing the same essay over and over again on a forum if you were to spoon feed everyone.

I've been involved in I'M for a number of years and am still learning. So I'm not going to post endless drivel when I can be putting things into practice and actually see the results. Then I might feel qualified to start leaving informative posts.
