New Macbook!

Congrats! Mac OS X is great, however the price is really the reason for me not to purchase another mac and go for a custom built pc. Why did you pick mac over windows? Maybe you can convince me..

I chose a macbook because I have an iMac 24 already and I know how awesome OSX is. Everything is so much smoother than windows imo. Also the retina display is pretty badass

It's definitely a beast I was considering getting the higher tier model but I couldn't justify an extra $600 for 300 more mhz lol

I love it, I can definitely tell the difference and text is super crisp. Only complaint is that some sites aren't optimized for it so the images come up blurry, but yes I do think it's worth it.

There are viruses for Macs as well. They are less common though but they do exist. Just in case you have one (a Mac) yourself I encourage you to keep it up to date and still stay safe online.

Thanks! Yeah, while websites are a hard-fix, there is an app called "Retinizer" that will make shitty looking apps look better by making it 2x the pixels or something like that.
