Well hello everyone. I bought a domain a couple of months ago, installed wordpress on it and then somehow completely forgot about it. I just got a mail today which went like this:

Hello,

I'm interested in your domain in the subject line.

Investing in domains is a profitable business. We are in real estate
business. Sometimes we buy, sometimes we resell for making a profit.

Looking forward to do business with you.

This is the exact mail. What i really want to know is...wtf does this guy mean? I am interested in your domain "in the sibject line"...what? Also, the domain is a single word musical instrument with a hyphen, something which i bought i dunno why and i never really expected it to sell. Someone shed a light on this as to what exactly is happening.thanks.

Someone else posted getting the same email, he had his website for sale on another site and that person thought it was a scam. Sorry I can't seem to locate that thread, but from the sound of it, it does seem like a scam.

Do you know the word ""SPAM". Maybe not a scam but for sure it is spamming.
