Whats your niche? Whats your website all about. If you don't have adsense you can try promoting affiliate, CPA or amazon products. Most important thing here is you need to promote products related to your niche.

Coupons for what? If they are discount coupons for ecommerce or hosting, check if that merchant has affiliate program. Will work very well.

Agree, I wouldn't do adsense because i feel like the amount they pay isn't worth it. You know how they have those coupon holders type cases, see if you can be an affiliate for one of those companies. If visitors are going to your site for coupons they probably need a place to store them. You can make a commission for each sale. Hope this helps.

You can try adsense like OnlyGame said or try to get you visitors to use your affiliate link to buy w/e it its kinda coupon you're supplying.

If you mean you have text about having xyz's coupon but don't actually have it, then you might be better off signing up for xyz's affiliate program. Usually they make available coupons for affiliates. You can post those coupons on your site and make it more legit.
