Hi Andres1986, syd2012, and everyone else,

Google is rerouting some Adwords accounts to Google Keyword Planner, causing the "expand keyword" function to time out. My new adwords accounts work fine for expanding the keyword. The "analyze competition" function is working for me. Andres1986, if you can PM me, we can look at your logs and see what the issue is.

I am working on getting an update out. I'll keep you all updated.

In the past couple weeks, we've seen Google redirect some Adwords accounts to Google Keyword Planner instead of Google Keyword Tool. I made a new Adwords account and now it works fine for me.


We are working on a fix, but the updated version probably won't come out for a week or so (both programmers are on vacation right now, and a third is going to work on it this weekend).


I apologize for the inconvenience, and we are trying to get it fixed.

There are two things I find extremely irritating with this tool, both have bothered me for a very long time but now it's REALLY annoying when working with 20+ projects...

1) When you open a .unf file, which is a saved project, instead of opening the actual file you clicked on, it opens the LAST opened project in UNF. So basically you have to click load project in the tool instead, which prompts with another annoying issue which will be described next..
2) You're already pissed off that the program didn't open the file you clicked on, now you click load project, navigate through your little folder network to the right place and click on the file. Now it tells you that there have been changes in the current project and asks you to save them, ALTHOUGH NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE THE THE PROJECT. Really really really really freaking annoying.

Open a saved project for example, click new project without changing anything, it starts talking about changes in the current one.. WTF?

Our programmer is working on the GKT to GKP fix. I've sent him your feedback to see if he can incorporate a fix into the new build. Thanks!
