Trying to sell a domain name on Flippa, not getting any visibility because no bids on it. Wondering if a person or two would mind putting a bid in. Reserve is in 5 figures so no need to worry about becoming high bidder as long as bid is in four figure range. Thanks BHW!

Change "x's" to "t's" in the link.

Your only problem is the minimum bid someone has to make is $1000.00 and most people don't know you and frankly that will cause people not to bid $1000 based on your word about the reserve they wouldn't want to get stuck for $1000 for a domain name..

I've been a member here on BHW for 5 years. I'm not trying to screw someone's Flippa account, reserve is 5 figures.

Can we bid even if we have few bucks on the credit card?

I believe any account can bid, you won't win the auction so no need to worry about having to pay.

Posting on a public, Google-indexed forum about your plan to shill bid is a spectacularly bad move, and the quickest way to getting your Flippa account suspended.

Top post exactly, but will flippa do anything about it is the question, as a whole host of issues are conveniently overlooked on that site...

It looks like they have done something - if you go to the page it says suspended next to his account name.

@nam this would have been a good thing to post in Jr Vip so it's not indexed.

That was indeed a very bad move. Anyone could go ahead and report you. What you needed instead is a couple of Skype friends.

Your account is suspended.this is not how to do business with a premium domain name.
You can list the domain as a Featured auction for only $50 and grab many views and watchers within 8hr-14hr easily and repeat that option if necessary . talk to any bidder after and test the water.
but asking people to bid fake bids on your auction, it is not professional and don't tell me This is BHW.
Sorry.

Got my account suspended too for helping...awesome. Guess I should have known better.

Anybody know how long my account will be suspended for? Is it permanent?

Welcome to BHW...:)

As you are new in here, can you expand with more details on your comment...

Thanks...

LMAO - Hello Ophelie, I haven't seen you on BHW before. I thought Andrew kept an eye here. =)

For those that don't know; Ophelie is the Senior Marketing Lead for Flippa. I guess you guys figured out by now how serious they are about shill bidding.

There are serious legal repercussions to this thread and the participating members. Imagine the plan worked and the buyer down the road stumbled on this thread realizing he was bidding against a group of BHW members. As Ophelie said, "a spectacularly bad move".

This should be on one of those dumbest criminals shows. I'm sure you made their day over at Flippa. I can't imagine the fun they had with this.

Google alerts is alive and well I see Ophelie.

BTW your ending soonest page has been broken for almost a full day. Now the ending soonest listings are down about 80 listings from the top on page 3 I believe.

Secondly can you explain how your shill bidding algorithm completely ignores sellers extending their listings over and over for DAYS? Search a seller that has $485 BIN BONUS in all his titles and see his listings all are being extended over and over and over again without increased bid counts and without increasing the current bid price. Not just picking on him but he's one of many that uses shills to extend his listings until he gets a real bidder; sometimes extending them full days with a constant bid, cancel, bid, cancel routine every 55 minutes.

This thread is an epic fail, but will leave open so Ophelie has the chance to reply to Kvmcable's post above (she also owes me some flippa stickers!)...
