TMW's 2nd Journey - Making Money From Nothing!

Hey TMW, great journey. I think I might try this, but I'm pretty confused on how commenting works...I hope you wouldn't mind answering some questions. :)

What's the actual process you're doing, here? From what I understand, you get on an account, post a comment, and then use a couple other accounts to thumb it up? Or, are you posting spun versions of the same comment over and over with different accounts, so that when someone looks at the comments, it will be full of different link shorteners all pointing to your site?

I have about 30 Youtube PVA accounts, and a good VPN, so I think I could try this, if I actually understood the process. Thanks for any insight. :)

I am basically using 1 account with 1 proxy to sign into my account, comment on as many videos as I can. The reason I use 1 account to comment on many videos is because then I don't end up losing all my accounts on Day 1 :)

I manually re-type the comment slightly differently each time I comment.

After I have posted my comments, I switch account and proxy and rate all my comments up.

You should be good to go. I am using only 20 accounts and 20 proxies.
 
Also as I said I was going to share what I found out about YT yesterday.

I found out that some of my new accounts seem to be asking for verification with new proxies. The proxies were fine on Day 1. They didn't cause my YT accounts to need verification. However a week later and they do. It is because my proxies have been flagged by YT. Even though I hadn't used some of my proxies they were still flagged. YT managed to do this as all my IP's had the same subnets.

Then I found out YT proxies that have been flagged can still be useful. They can't comment anymore though, but they can still vote comments up however you won't get top comments if the proxies have been flagged. So if you get the problem where you can't get top comment then it's mostly likely caused by the proxies being flagged. To check if your proxies are flagged all you need to do is try to comment anything or any video and then check if it's visible for everyone else. You can check this using a proxy search website.

So I have learnt that proxies are the most important thing when mass commenting. But I still need to find out how long each proxy lasts and how to make it last longer.

I am still trying to fix some issues on my site so I can't update my earnings yet.

It is true that proxies is the most important thing when it comes to commenting, though depending on how many users actually flag your comment, you account can last for a while. If you play smart and act like a regular user, that is, post no more than 3 comments/day and like other videos, log in twice a day etc., your account can actually last very long.

Thanks for the advice. I need to start doing that, as all I do at the moment is log in and spam. I will try to act as if I am a normal user.

I've tried this method, and for me proxies are the problem, too. They get instantly flagged by Youtube, so my comments get ghosted.
Maybe I have to try with different proxies, or outsource the work :)

Thanks. Also I am going through proxy providers as well, as I can't ever seem to find a decent provider.
 
I've had an idea recently. I am going to try it but it's going to take time to get it right, so I am going to have to put this journey on hold for a while. But it will be worth it. I am still trying to figure out how everything is going to work. I will explain everything soon. But for now I am going to be not posting much, so if you have a question I will try to respond when I can.

But for now I will leave the journey like this:

1. In your experience, what kind of activity does a video need to keep a top comment at the top for the longest? I know for highly active videos (videos that are receiving comments by the second), the top comments can stay there for a matter of minutes. So I guess you need some kind of hybrid between good activity in a video, but not TOO good, if you know what I mean. Have you found any kind of middle ground here?

2. Do you go after videos that aren't at the number one spot for the keyword you're targeting? I tested one niche just to try it out, and the top video had approved comments only. Just curious as to what you'd do in this situation.

1) Most of the videos I aim to get top comment on have a comment posted every 12 hours on average. This is still quite a high activity but as I am aiming for top comment it will stand out above the rest. Also it won't get took down to quickly. I have had top comments last up to 5 days on videos like these.

2) I go after the first 3 pages of videos related to my keyword. There is a few that don't approve comments so I just ignore them and move onto the next.
